u hav a choice to use your fon as a modem/mifi or just buy a usb modem

i would advice u try out using your fon  as a modem and if the signal is good, buy a usb modem for about rm100+/- (new)

U mobile is more sincere in giving out freebies. I can call out to other telco numbers in celcom coverage area without being charged and the charges goes to the freebies.

/offtopic: DiGi super reload RM15 has nothing to do with Internet, except may be a little bit of Twitter SMS and Facebook SMS,

http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot_v3/superRe...=1&f=promotions

Q1. What will I get from the RM15 DiGi Super Reload Social?
A1. The RM15 DiGi Super Reload Social will give you the following:
RM15.00 (to be credited into main account balance)
FREE 250 DiGi – DiGi SMS (worth RM25.00)
FREE 100 DiGi – DiGi MMS (worth RM25.00)
FREE 100 Facebook/Twitter SMS (worth RM10.00)
In total, you will enjoy RM75 worth of credit by just spending RM15 on the coupon!!!

Also unsure how is the max capping is done, whether is in 1 month or the whole promotion period, or at any 1 time, the max is:

Q3. Is there a max cap on the free SMS and MMS given?
A3. Yes. The max caps on the freebies given are as follows:
Max cap
300 DiGi to DiGi SMS
100 DiGi to DiGi MMS
100 Facebook/Twitter SMS<

After reaching the max cap, freebies will not be granted even if you perform another reload using the RM15 DiGi

so far i find U Mobile 3G reception is fairly better than Digi... could even receive calls in lift/basement while my Digi would 'zero reception'..... but sadly at U-Mobile got no 3G at cyberjaya.. sad.gif

sorry.. i take that back. Correction...... there's indeed 3G coverage here at CBJ... now on UMOBILE3G... must be something wrong my phone this morning. Great... good reasons to go U-Mobile already.... bye bye Digi. smile.gif

Added on June 6, 2011, 2:39 pmFunny... how come U-mobile cannot port over my existing number?

Saw this at their website FAQ for Postpaid Voice+Data Plan:

Am I able to port my existing number for these plans?

No. These plans are not valid with Mobile Number Portability. It is suggested for you to take up a new U Mobile line

Over the weekend i was at their Service Center.. the fella said can. rclxub.gif

Guys how do I terminate my postpaid Umobile U68? Do I just leave it without paying? Plan to shift to prepaid since they have rebates.
