Been using digi for 1 year plus, always run speedtest. Highest i got was 1.1mb. Never got higher.
Does it show a "H" sign or "H+" if you are using a mobile phone ? In my case, Samsung Galaxy SII  hmm.gif
ya... were a digi user before... fastest i got also 1.1mbps... mostly around 700-1.1mbps... more stable than umobile no doubt but atleast... umobile is middle signal strength also can get me around 1.8-2+mbps... quite ok lar... when good times, 5+mpbs also i got before... really area dependant...

Improve broadband speed also requires software. But if you are using postpaid, you have to stick to that modem.

Signal bars depend on your modem also.

They said The grass always look greener on another side. I am in Klang Valley. Within Lembah Pantai constitution. I don't feel lucky as you might have thought. With Umoble I managed to get the speed over 2.0 mbps with my first month subscription. The subsequent months never get over 2.0 . My speed is about 1.5 (non-throttled speed). Frequent disconnection. This one week, the disconnection happened way too frequent (estimate every 5-10 minutes).  Until today, still remain the same. I went to UMoblie Berjaya, they said the classic excuse "We are upgrading".  What can I do?  The technology behind is not releveant to me, it is the end result to the  customer. They can talk on the news of what ever tehnology for the sake of their shareholder benefit but as as customer we need something that we can really feel. At least not like what happening to me now.  (yes, I am disappointed)

Was it just your house or you've tried other locations around the Klang Valley such as Imbi, Ampang, PJ, Gombak and Shah Alam?

All the results were good for me.

If you're getting bad results all over then you might want to look at your device/setup instead.

Anyway Umobile in Ipoh has gotten worse since last time. Last time always getting 2mbps+ now only when I'm lucky at the least peak hours I'll get around 1.5mbps-1.7mbps here.

Something serious needs to be done here.

No wonder. EDGE speed is kinda very low. Last time, i saw it at 5.6kb/s rate. rclxub.gif

Digi is surely 3G. Otherwise, it won't be faster than 20kb/s tops.
