I want to ask if pj around ldp and federal highway intersection speed idea it very bad?

I stay around there and this last 1 month my d/l speed is like 0.3 mbps only. Now I am at port dickson ( pd ) and my speed is 2 mbps ++.

Why is it like that? Pj area I thought should be higher than pd?

hmmm.... something strange. after i come back to KL, my speed now back to normal (1mbps - 2mbps). ping also ok

is it coincidence or is it when i went to another location, it sort of reset my account?

Before i subscribed to any of telco's data plan i did lots of research of their data plan. When i asked the sales agent from Midvalley(near the 3rd Floor Cinema) what's the speed for U28 plan, and she said it's normal 128k, which I think it's fair if compare to other telco like digi, celcom and maxis. The other telco also offer similar speed for the data plan with such low value.

This is not the first time I speed test on my Umobile, On the first day i tested it in my office (near Bukit Bintang area) it did really achieve more than 5mbps and i was caught in surprise with the speed as well. I will later do the test again in my office today and post the result up later.

test the sim on a modem connected to pc first, if it worls then its the Ipad settings, happened to my Ipad3G b4

actually connecting via wifi is the best for ipad , faster , use a MiFi or a 3G router ,

last time i hav to restore my ipad then only it gets connected via ipad HSDPA, else only 2G no 3G/HSDPA at all. its cause by the iOs icon_idea.gif

your speed shown is definately not 128kbps, its 3241kbps and 2616kbps

the 128kbps is when you ady used up the 500MB quota, the CS talk nuts to you icon_idea.gif

the 128kbps is the throttled speed once u overuse the quota of 500MB

Means its best to take the micro sim out, stick it bk to its original size put it bk into usb modem dongle plug it into a laptop, run its connectivity, if it works means ipad os kacau if it doesnt means I need to visit BTS umobile again rite.

So before all these, any umobile broadband users still experiencing down time at the moment?
