But i think they cut pieces off my nano marimo..yup, they love to cling to marimo n they look nice with the contrast..might get more marimo..

Yes...You can keep them with shrimp, but i dont suggest nano marimo keep with Yamato shrimp as they will cabut them . Yamato can grow up to 4cm size.

Shrimp like them very much. Marimo is kind of moss which contain food for shrimp. The important thing is cycle your tank properly before you add some shrimp inside as they are very sensitive to water parameter

leeyung, ur grandpa marimo how old already? envy laa. i heard its quite rare to get such a big sized 1?

hahah you also 'kena' marimo fever, you will end up like fishman, tank full of marimos.

i already infected with marimo fever way before fishman kena the fever. long long time ago i already ordered my marimo from leeyung hahaha. now i target the grandpa marimo only hahaha

Yeah, shrimp like marimo so much, but for shrimp tank, parameter of water really need to take note.

grandpa very rare one I do wish to get another grand pa, but really not easy to get it according to my sensei, and Malaysia weather too hot for grandpa, old man cant sustain high temp LOL

I am only having 3 juvenile cherry shrimp...bt wondering y my marimo is not round? looks more like divided from big marimo..is it a possibility that is why bits of marimo fur fall off?...not too sure la...wil upload some pic later..

and another thing is, do u guys wash your marimo frequently? coz i think my marimo expel some thing like thin oil which i can c from the surface of the water..sorry..i m a noob...hehe

just wondering, the petshop person told me stones has 2 types. 1 is for fresh water, 1 is for salt water. which one should i get for marimo? fresh water?

We need to see the photo before we can further comment, btw I didnt see any attachment nor photos from your post

By the way, Nano marimo should look like the photo below, unlike what you described "not round? looks more like divided from big marimo". That's why we need to see your photo for further clarification.
