Change the water every week so they can absorb some minerals from the water and no direct sunlight on them.Artificial sunlight is more than enough for them. The only thing u have to take note is the lower the temp the greener they are |

QUOTE(Mevoxede @ May 23 2011, 04:17 PM) mine is like that too.. i guess its normal? haha Yes the dirts come from them is normal.Dont worry about the color, try to provide them the lowest temp u can so then they will turn back into green just wash my marimo and about to migrate them into a proper tank What i usually do is during the hot weather i will put 1-2pieces of ice to cool the temp |

QUOTE(Mevoxede @ May 23 2011, 06:41 PM) my new tank for marimo(only) for now. previously was using some container only cos no time buy tank like our friend somewhere in this thread here Bro u very serious now then i notice that its kinda big for 2 giant + 4 nano but oh well. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This tank cost you around RM6x right?Brand dolphin?add tetra also they like it very much but not guppy because guppy is tropical fish which they prefer warm water like 30celsius. Marimo prefer cooler water so add those fish which suit to the temp |

QUOTE(a_sim @ May 31 2011, 04:34 PM) ok got the water filter already... now need to hunt for marimo cleaner (shrimp)... anyone know which pet shop currently got stock for red cherry or bee shrimps or other nice shrimps? Shrimp love marimo moss a lot, they always checking marimo like checking "Kutu" but you are require to run your tank for at least a month before u added some shrimp inside.Different kind of of shrimp require different ph and temp.Shrimp are very sensitive towards temp.Remember to do survey before u add them inside. |
