bro, how's ur 15.6" on FHD? is the font too small or something? now im confused whether to get Sager or Asus. preferably with GTX580 on Sager but when i choose to upgrade to it, the price easily shot up to above rm6K. darn it.

I've been living with 1680x1050 pixels view on my 22inch external monitor for a very long time. biggrin.gif The fonts on 1920x1080 screen are easily readable at about 700cm away from the screen smile.gif

If you concern about future upgrades without change the unit, better pick sager.

I'm using intel 6230 and haven't face the problem as you do. I will do DNS changes (like change to google dns) via router instead of via laptop network. hmm.gif

My case is a bit weird one ...

At Home Wireless:
---------------------
my Sager at home using wireless ... not working due to unable to resolve name, use IP address then working
my other wireless devices (notebook & smart phone), all working no problem

At Outside Wireless:
-----------------------
my Sager at Old Town public WiFi ... working no problem ... rclxub.gif

At Home Wired
-----------------
my Sager's at home using wired ... working no problem
my other devices, all working no problem

i noticed the GentechPC website does not offer the 3% cash rebate as the Xotic one, but Xotic shipping postage for d same USPS Express Mail is doubled the GentechPC.

How cud be so? rclxub.gif

im trying to get the best deal out of those two webs. Anyone here knows something i dont know? tongue.gif

What's the wireless channel for your wireless router?

Howbout set it to channel 11?

Or maybe you can try disable the 802.11n mode in the advanced configuration of your laptop wireless.

Mushkin RAMs are nice for OC.
Just get a Kingston Value RAM, since notebook doesn't necessary need OC.

Depends on the chipset, gaming RAM always refers to OC RAM. Patriot, Mushkin are nice OC RAM.

Side note: 1333MHz and 1600MHz RAMs have little/no real life difference.
