Not that I know of. If your phone is rooted, do give Shootme a try, very easy to use, the default option is shake your phone to capture a screenshot. Can download from the Market. FOC.

hello all sgs's user.....is it worth to buy this phone NOW?as now dual-core is release in market. I thinking to buy this phone bcoz this phone is a king of single core phone. If i buy this phone and i want to use stock rom what tweaks i need to do to make it perfect or show its true potential? What i know is the gps is an issues, need to install lagfix, etc....can u all sifu2 makes me clear about this?really looking forward with this phone...please enlighten me and THANK YOU!  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

it depends on ur budget, if u got $$ then wait for SGS2. as for what tweaks is required, it also depends on ur needs. for me im running gingerbread jvh and i find it smooth enough, i was in kl earlier looking for a place in desa pandan, damn the gps is much faster on GB. but if u have high requirement on screen, then i will definitely suggest this fon to u, its one of the best. of cos, if u have problem, many sifu here can help u out ;-)

A lot of things are made clear in the first few posts of this thread.

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry42261558

As to whether this phone is worth to buy now, based on your feedback above about wanting to just run stock ROM, I would suggest you go dual core. The SGS becomes very powerful and quick once you tweak and customise it although the more recent firmwares are pretty quick already.

Yes, something's a bit off with the latest CM7 nightly's auto-brightness settings. Not a show stopper for me because I use PhoneWeaver (sadly, paid app) to set timed profiles on my phone (e.g. 9am-6pm 50% brightness, 6pm - 9am 20% brightness).

europe (I9000XXJVO), i believe JV9 is for Vodafone or something like that, someone mentioned before. let us know the performance of JVO, im on JVH and the battery drain problem still exist occasionally.
*
jvh and jvo cant really know what is the different. if you rooted your phone try to rename the 3things dont delete. this always solve battery drain problem.

Added on May 20, 2011, 3:36 pmis there any way to fix tweaky rom front camera?

I find that Darky ram boost tweak a lil too aggressive. sure, my phone is flying. but now my phone act like an iBrain. no multitasking, coz all apps running were immediately closed as soon as I minimize it. maybe what I have to do is install AutoKiller app, set to Optimum preset when I want multitasking. while on a daily basis, I should let Darky ram boost tweak do its job.
