based on wat i read its the quietest....ku36 is noisy

but noise isnt much of a concern to me....grip, handling, sidewall n durability is

R1R Grip is better then 595RSR, 595 starting lost grip after 50% while R1R last longer about 70%. If 15 x 7jj rims should be 195/50 or 195/55 the best.

This is just my personal review. KU36 never use before.

thanks... ive seen quite a number of reviews that say similar...

but ive seen even more reviews that mention rsr is better....some say almost as good as r888... somemore even WTAC lists those tires as semi slicks while ku36 n r1r isnt...

i oso abit confuse as to which is which...even someone whos considered a handling sifoo says the same as u in terms of r1r having better grip...

guess have to try n find out myself eh?

ive pretty much decided to go with rsr 205/50...r1r no have this size.. and will be fitting on 15x7.... main reason for rsr is wet conditions.. coz my baby n wife are usually in the car with me when on the road.

Just changed my other cars tyre to RE002 again. Didn't experience this much difference when I changed it in my MPV. Then again, changed this set of tyre from cap Ayam tyre to due low usage for the past few years. Now feel damn confident in cornering.

WTA anyone changed from size 195/60/15 to 205/45/16 before?
Plan to do so but check on the net show more than 3.5% changes may caused brake failure.
Anyone?

Guys I have a Goodyear tire having a irregular bum. This tire is still very new actually, about 2 years old only. Can I claim warranty? This was bought in Melaka and now I'm in KL, do I have to travel back down Melaka to claim it?

1) irregular wear = no claim, own fault
2) 2 years is not very new, as tires life span = ~3 years max

tldr: nope.

try avoid the most basic of the tires if driving in KL. u be driving often on lebuhraya with many quick slowdowns. even speed like 80 km in the rain is enough to make you skid. even XM2 is not that expensive if u consider a lifespan of 2 years, safety first.

Btw, R1R is great, grips like crazy and love the thread design.

but due to change soon, front already hitting 50% after 7 or 8 months sad.gif
