Got my 3DS XL yesterday. Red in colour! Busy playing super Mario 3d land now... Awesome awesome gameplay!

Paper Mario is quite good, Kid Icarus is awesome, even if you don't like the genre, just buy it for the dialogue, haha.

Well. Mpnster hunter 4 will take some time to localise, but Monster Hunter 3 should be available really soon! Animal crossing...probably early next year (I got the JPN one tho...it's very pretty to look at and awesome as well)

is XL really a much better model than 3ds n not worth it to get normal version anymore ?

The XL can be more comfortable, has a bigger battery life (but still sucks it dry because of the size of the screen) compared to the original. But that's up to you of course.

Wow thats huge.. Thinking of buying one for myself too cuz I have big hands so Circle Pad Pro would make the 3ds xl even more comfortable to use and hold.. Hmmm.. But it wont work with my crystal case right?

i'm not sure bout your crystal case, but if the case is separated between above & bottom part, just applied the above ones... if it's locked.... just break it la

There's another thing I want to ask, this time it's about updates and accessories..

Is it true that when you buy an original 3ds game, it will automatically help to update your 3ds console into the latest firmware? (haha, I hope I got the terms right.. )

They're so many casings out there: silicon casing, crystal casing... What are the differences between them? I know what they look like, but function wise..they should differ in terms of protection, right?

Btw I'm gonna get myself a hard pouch for the 3ds though...so, no worries.. ^.~

And do I really need a spare stylus? I think the given stylus is robust enough...but, is it really necessary?

1. i can't confirm since i own my 3ds before the first firmware ..
2. recommend to get Silicon casing.. crystal casing will be scratch easy so it will be not nice after awhile
Silicone is soft and blurry.. while crystal is hard and clear see through
Using mine without a casing
3. get a better stylus if you are playing with games that need good accuracy at Kid Icarus or theatrhythm.. not a must but a good to have

I've got a soft pouch for the DSi and 3DS. Just intending to let it go for RM 10. heh.

I'm thinking of a silicon casing too, but i had bad experiences with it and my iPod.. it left some kind of weird looking smudges on the back of the iPod... ><

Yup, I can confirm this because my friend's 3DS got the prompt to update the firmware when she first played PM: SS. Got the message something like "You need to update to xx.xx in order to play this game" IIRC
