guys....how to test screen bleeding a?

can someone enlight the process of sending back the faulty ipad2 to apple for exchange?

do we need to pay for any shipment fee etc?

They'll collect from u using dhl for free.

If you encourtered minor backlight bleeding or stuck pixel ( not dead pixel ), i think you should keep it first instead of ask for replacement coz Foxconn plant explosion on Friday may cause serious delay and shortages of ipad.

Problem is, I scared 7 days exchange 1 to 1. After 7 days, they just give u 2nd hand exchange.

To be frank, they don't have to replace you with a brand new. They can choose to give you a refurbished unit as well. It depends on how they handle your case.

Within 7 days, according to the law, they have to replace with new one. Your frankness does not make sense at all

From my experience for my iPad 2 case, Apple Malaysia do not practice this.

Or maybe if you can show me the black and white for the 7 days 1-1 exchange thingy for Apple Malaysia perhaps?

Bought mine for more than 3 weeks,they said I'm going to get a new unit.Still waiting for my replacement now.

not sure. Malaysia consumer law.

My experience is it depends on the reseller. For my case, the manager called up Apple Malaysia person in charge for this, and was told it is up to the reseller to offer a 1-1 exchange or not.

Nowadays even Machines don't offer 1-1 on the spot already, you have to let them send back to a service center. Once verified only they do a 1-1 exchange.

I see. I can't fault you too. Malaysia sucks in consumer law. LOL

I'm commenting based on my own experience . Lucky for me I got mine replaced quick.

Even if one goes for a court case against Apple, by the time the case is done I think iPad 3 is out

i just had my replacement unit.... it even more worst. cant take back the old unit. need to make another report to apple again.... ti sis so calles 'premium xperience'

production date was 20(may) loaded with 4.3.3 sob sob

i log case on 12/5/2011 (2nd day i received ipad 2)
Apple SC say will send DHL within 2-3days....
but wait until today no collection....
So i jus call Apple SC again..... finally my online status change

Return initiated on 12/05/2011 by Apple.( Return Pending)...
I think a lot ppl log case v them.....
Hope DHL will come tomolo~~~

If I bought an Ipad 2 from a local reseller, is it possible to exchange for a replacement Ipad 2 for multiple times until obtained the perfect unit?

You can change but each time you change, you will have to wait for a new batch. And each batch would probably be reserved for others since the stock is still limited for the time being.
One more thing, there's no perfect unit without screen bleeding I'm afraid..

Received my new unit yesterday. HavIng screen bleeding problem + connector jammed at the iPad and can't remove at all. Will complaint to apple CS and see how it goes......
