It's a hit or miss also actually. If you read MacRumors forum, you should know !

Thats what I saw from MacRumors forum, it seems the DLXF serial number is less prone to screen bleeding according to the forumners there

Mine was week 19 serial number starts with DQTF and has massive bleeding. Did Apple Malaysia said that how many replacements can be done as I afraid my replacement iPad 2 will have the same problem...from macrumors forum some of them even exchanged until the 6th set, but its only applicable for western countries..

if like that it I think its better to keep the faulty Ipad 2 for a while, once the problem is solved then only exchanged for a faultless Ipad 2...but once you knew there is screen bleeding, you keep looking at it..damn..

Can't sleep thanks to my flu pill, so kinda share my experience.

My unit #1 is a DLXF (Week 18), it had slight light leakage, I could accept but have dead pixels so I returned it for warranty. Then when my replacement arrived 1 week later, its a DLXF (Week 17). It is also a new retail unit actually.

First thing I noticed is the new unit is brighter! Thought my eyes were playing with me so I took a photo of it..using the exact same settings to ensure same exposure of the photo.

I'm thinking my current unit seems to have more light leakage due to brighter panel? Both are set to 100% brightness.

Hi Celciuz, so whats your next step? Return it back to the reseller and exchange for another 1 or wait until the screen bleeding problem is solved then only changed? I just had my Ipad 2 exchanged and hopefully the replacement is perfect...fingers crossed..

If I bought an Ipad 2 from a local reseller, is it possible to exchange for a replacement Ipad 2 for multiple times until obtained the perfect unit?

Same phobia as me when I was waiting for my second unit. Cause my first unit was considered minimal as compared to most samples I've seen online. But luckily second unit is minimal too on the light bleeding issue phew, best part is no dead pixels this time  laugh.gif .

Does your replacement Ipad 2 come with the original white retail box or the brown box mentioned a few times in Macrumors forum?
