As I know, Apple provides 14 days for the customer to exchange their unit 1 to 1 in case like your unit is having manufacturer defects. After 14 days, your unit is no longer applicable for the policy and you will have to send your unit to service centre to diagnose/check before you can claim your warranty ( get new/recon unit). This is what the Switchers told me, correct me if I'm wrong.

Go to where you bought your iPad 2 and ask for one to one exchange

i actually bought mine at epic centre, i called up apple to claim for screen bleeding and they gonna send me a brand new sealed set.

Can i know which machines tat ur friend went?

how did you get them to send yo a brand new sealed unit? mine just asked me to send it to the service centre, im sure they have to verify that you have screen bleeding first right?

mine ipad bought from challenger from mines. I am not able to go kl since i am at my hometown doin internship. Is there any option? or i have to call the challenger and tell them the problem?

I think best you call up to ask what options you have. Hopefully they let you keep your unit and when replacement arrives then can change I guess.

Apple policy for 1-1 exchange is within 14days is correct. But the reseller like machine they insist of 7 day. I went to machine yesterday claim. They told me that

mine 32gb wifi white bleeds at left side and bottom of the screen..... it's only apparent in total black screen in dark room...... if under normal circumstance.. it's actually hardly even noticeable. So.. not a problem for me.

i go to change mine the main purpose is not a screen bleed. Is scratches hahahaha. When i buy and open on the spot it's scratches.

wow.. scratches is bad.. this definitely has to change. But the bleed part.. it's not really a major prob unless it really bleeds big time. Besides.. changing now isn't going to guarantee a good one coz i read majority of the ipad 2 out there has this manufacturing defect. So it is better to wait until Apple really ships out a fixed ones.....

after few months also can exchange? btw the bleeding part will it be worst after few months?

At least if you change now you will be getting brand new unit. If you change in few months time, it might be refurbished units instead?

that's what i'm trying to find out.... whether will it get worse. I hope it doesn't.
