I go switch just now. Cannot see screen bleed on both black and white.

Nothing to do with colours la, it's all due to QC when manufacturing/assembling the iPad

The concept is good but Apple must not disappoint loyal customers. If not, once Android started to gain momentum, they will the customers to them. I'm not a fanboy but I love Apple products simply for the design and concept. Accessories plenty and affordable. However, I don't like the way Apple impose silly restrictions on a customer.

I am not saying it's okay for apple to sell ipad2 with bleeding screen. I am saying, you already know it's bleeding but still want to join the herd and queue whole day to get the product. After getting still want to complain about the bleeding and curse apple and all. That is lame.

how can we know it going to bleed before buying it?everyone expect to get a good product when buying something not just apple same as going for lunch we expect to have a good food when you queue at the food court right? plus i don't see anyone cursing they just seeking opinion how to claim a new one from apple in proper manner and I don't think asking advise is LAME smile.gif, again this is just my opinion and it not nice calling someone lame doh.gif

if you get screen bleed better ask for a replacement asap mostly stock are limited so you wont be spending a lot of time waiting for a new one.

It's already a hot topic on the Internet even before Malaysia launching. Unless you are buying one from oversea, you should know the PROBABILITY is very high.

If that is at 100% I would say pretty good since some others had even worse results.

So you're saying if we buy the iPad 2 and we have such problem we should just keep quiet and live with it??
By us complaining and ranting her and trying to get a replacement from apple is lame as it is our right as a consumer to begin with??

People I strongly advice all of you who has screen bleeding to call up apple and since no stock at least to have a case number with them.
So that they should be acknowledging that most of their customers are having such problem and they should rectify it in their new batch with no problem.
Some have been replacing a lot of times and still have such problems.
We should not just sit and keep quiet.
My 2 cents smile.gif

Well problem is, even the new replacement unit isn't guaranteed to not have the screen bleeding problem. If really unlucky, even if were to change 2 or even more times, will still have the screen bleeding issue. sweat.gif

I agree. It's not about being anal or over demanding as a consumer. It is more about sending a signal to Apple saying "Hey! You need to buck up on QC!" If we do not raise the issue, it doesn't become important enough to warrant corrective measures.

Sure, most of us can live with the screen bleed issue (myself included) but it is beside the point. Call up Apple and obtain a case number all the same regardless of whether you decide to get a replacement or not. If overloading their support system may seem unfair to consumers who actually want to get a replacement, at the very least submit a complaint detailing the condition of your iPad. No one is going to push Apple to improve their production quality more than us consumers.

I already report and make many call. They even ask me send a picture for them to verify. We have right to claim it.... RM2099 for an iPad 2 64GB wifi for me is consider high end premium. Tonight will email them a horrible picture. After that will get them to follow my case. I found out this light leaking after 2 days used.

TO BE HONEST i really do not know iPad 2 got light leaking problem. If got I will not so silly line-up to get my iPad 2. That day I was sick too. Not only that, I got a scatches like a claw from cat at the back of iPad 2. I asking for exchange or rebate. At the end they give me FOC accessories. So I accept it.

You are right brother JUST our 2 cents nonononono is our RM2099 worth of products.........................

iPad 2 64GB is premium priced. You deserve to get exchange. (64GB model is premium high end. RM600 for 48GB memory is really
really premium high end).

As for iPad 2 16GB, it is cheap priced. So exchange or not does not matter if you can't see it when you use.
