uui! who uses 100% brightness? heheh..

nway, my unit has little bleeding near the home button, thats all.. i think maybe i'm lucky enough.. not bothering me much.. watch movies at tv ler.. lagi ppuuasss~

I like to turn off auto-brightness have it at around 70%. 100% in a dark room will prob burn your retina

Jus checked mine in dark room, notice at least 4 spots bleeding. But my question is normally I used 50% brightness, and mine us white panel. When use during day time, I can't notice de bleeding at all...so is it this bleeding problem really a big issue?

How do you focus to get such a clear pic? Mine is same like yours. What do you think of those yellowish thing? Some said its glue, not the light.

Actually I don't really see much yellow in real life and the bleed is not so obvious. The photo exaggerates the faults and provides inaccurate color.

I really don't know but if the yellow part is glue, you should be able to spot it on a white background like some of the shots taken by early US iPad 2 owners. And glue doesn't emanate light.

Like I said... I want my money's worth... call me kiasu, kiam siap or whatever but when I pay for something more than RM 1k, it must be good. This applies to everything I buy... from cars to houses and from furnitures to gadgets. Each time, I give hell to salesman. If below RM 1k, don't care la... as long it works and have long warranty periods.

It's true.. it's not a cheap product.
I will definitely exchange mine if there is bleeding

but not now... maybe 2-3 months down the road when the fever has died (and when the iphone 5 fever is at its peak)... i'll send in for a replacement.

Just to update you all again with my case.

So after countless email exchanging and calls here and there, a dedicated and friendly CS head don't know from where is assign to my case.

In a nutshell, in 1-2 weeks time they will send me a brand new iPad 2 ordered from the apple online store made by the CS.
Just give my mailing address and my cc details as safety precaution just incase in 10 working days once I received my iPad 2 and I don't ship out my iPad 2 back to them.
They say they will pick it up and I don't even know how would that work.

I opt for this option cause I know virtually anywhere in Malaysia is quite hard to get stock.
So yeah people that's my case now, the waiting game again

I hope Apple will swap a better unit for u... not repair the current one.

They are going to give me a brand new one, once received my brand new iPad 2 which is 3 weeks waiting then in 10 days they will send someone to pick up my faulty iPad 2

I also realize that my ipad2 also got bleeding. Which near to the hope button and both edge. If keep quite now and make complain 3 month later would they change brand new for me? Disappointed with apple product. Not bleeding case even scratches I get

Now stocks are low my friend. Try to find alternative ways to claim and on which store. If you're lucky then you might get it.

Well for me I chose for them to send me a new one cause I have high hopes that the next batch from the factory would be no problem at all, wishful thinking

I bro I want to get your experience advise. Should I report now or 3 month later just voice out this issue? This problem consider manufacturing defect ?

I'll voice out now by giving apple a call and get a case number.

Seek for their advice on the stocks issue.
If you wanna wait for 3 months later also can but for me I rather do it now cause the thought is there and I find it annoying having such problems.

Hi brother got ur point. Tomorrow will give a buzz to apple customers service hotline. I not only got bleeding issue and scratches issue like a scratches from cat claw really make to become OCD

That's got bad, I think I've already heard of few cases of the scratch issue, wonder how it could happen if it's brand new.

Probably it was a demo unit or a tester for trainees or something.
Just speculating

i have the same issue unfortunately in overseas now..can i claim once i back(like 2 mths)...will they replace my set tat time???
