it's very old but it's worth it.

RM130 is so close to the real starting point of good stuff... so that's why I'd recommend it

the e3100 is the first speaker to get me in to audiophile lol

unless you can afford the RM200 Edifier M3400 whistling.gif

Going for e3100 then rclxms.gif

But ar there any competitors out there around this price ?

The Z623 would be a better choice if you love boomy deep bass.

other than that I would say the sound from C3/R501 much more worth the price

Edifier C3 is good for vocals, good emphasize on mid range thumbup.gif More for music rather than movies where the subwoofer may not produce the sort of loudddddddd or deeeeeeep bass you might want.

And oh btw, Edifier C3 excels when paired with a decent/good sound card. Improvement in Sound Quality is big. So, if you want to get the best out of your speakers, pair it with a decent Sound card lah smile.gif

S330D bass is boomy and powerful but it is not accurate and messy
the trebles are not adjustable and it sounded quite plastic like...
very messy sound.

but some people liked them too so yea...

hello everyone.. im looking fr a speaker system (either 2.1 or 5.1) for anywhere around rm 800.. i have the following models in mind.. i love good tight bass with excellent thumping but also good sound clarity.. use it for music>gaming>movies..
sp2500
hcs56400(c6)
s530D
da500pro..

dun really mind if its 5.1 or 2.1.. pls suggest smeting that would produce excellent bass without any muddiness.. smeting tight but still able to provide the oomph smile.gif

2nd ques.. (i am new to all this stuff so sorry if it sounds foolish) but would a lower powered 5.1 system be able to beat a much higher powered 2.1 system in terms of raw power in subwoofer for bass eg the sp2500 vs da500pro
tq v much

it's best to put all your money on something small to compress all the awesomeness it can give out XD

but yes... the two mentioned had the raw power you need laugh.gif

thanx a lot man.. what if u had to choose between the 2?? considering factors like availability and so forth (live in ampang so lowyat would be ideal place to shop) which would be better.. coz ive read previous comments saying the corsair is a bit hard 2 get in lowyat plaza..

and tq for clearing up the 2.1 and 5.1 issue as well smile.gif
