bro you looking for 5.1 or 2.1?
*
Either one is fine for me. Got your PM. Will check on those. Thanks.

Never had high end speaker before. Just the normal Creative/Altec Lansing/etc for PC which is years ago. Converted to headphones after that with no speakers.
So getting a speaker system for a TV is very new to me. sweat.gif

this seems good but how's users feedback ? previously i asked for speaker recommendation too and until today, i narrowed to

1. logitech z2300 used rm350 (seems good but old)
2. aego m black new rm799 (like it's small compact size yet audiophile quality)
3. ae 5+ white used rm1500 with custom cables, stand (love the design, i tried the speaker before , it's POWERFUL)

if u plan to using for long time no upgrade, buy the most expensive so u wont regret.
otherwise, z23 is nice play2 a few months then sell when u see good deal to upgrade.

If you're able to put to that budget and space isn't a problem, just go for AE 5 only. It is way better from the other choices you listed.

hehe.. correct
t for theater, m for music /mini?

btw, i have tried stereo bookshelf without subwoofer. 5" can play some bass just nice but it will never replace a real subwoofer performance.

Since you are willing to consider speakers well beyond your initial budget of RM500, do check out the Harman Kardon Sound Stick III as well nod.gif

Looks like Edifier C3 will suits you well. But if you hve time, try to audit that Edifier R1900TIII and Edifier R2500. Since you priority mostly on music, you might get interested on the sounds they produced. Good luck!

Thanks! I'm actually in a dilemma whether to take Logitech Z623 or the C3. Is Z623 worth buying?

Answer is no. Only worth if you are only care about that boomy bass biggrin.gif hehe. If i were you, my target will be R1900TIII/R2500 then C3 coz the speaker will be mainly for music rclxms.gif

The only good about Z623 is their boomy bass.. kinda good on gaming (on most people). C3 got clean and solid bass while their satellites produce nice mid, good enuf for gaming and music.
