right, if acceleration not disabled, it wont work at all!2

hmm... i tried both 720 and 1080 links, no lag...

ff... havent tried but when i use the mouse to click forward, ok also - this is good, hiplayer 12.2 can't do that for 720/1080, can only do for sd links.
btw, do you mean playback/stream xbmc links or like some peopl to do - playback media files from usb with xbmc??

also, what speed r u on?
*
play from usb, just testing only normally will playback with himedia native player

will test stream 720/1080 from yify later

mine Unifi 5mb only

i guessed as much...

playback usb with xbmc has always been an issue, unless u root, crack...? think whitelighter can help you on this.

i never use it that way as the native player is good.

and... 5mbps shud be good enough for the most part.

yes its non emmc.
yes i missed  your post . download 12.2 now.
Avfan, how's your world cup channel? i gave up on Astro on the go now, too much buffer too.now just download fr torrent.

now that juniper has told us how to get gotham 13.1 working (system/settings/video/acceleration, disable mediacodec), you need not go back to hiplayer 12.2. gotham is neater, no need any advancedsettings.xml.

again.... anyone not getting good worldcup2014 video with cloudtv or aotg, pls try xbmc/navi-x. there are several links there, at least one or two will work fine at any one time.

i have just moved back to 12.2 but i will try on gotham 13.1 , need to read the previous post first.
have tried cloudtv and navi-x but all channels buffer. Some are quite good quality in navi-x but the streaming of hi-def video is not good . the device(client) wifi antenna is not strong in handshake/reception. Can anyone confirm if you are using lan direct instead of wifi signal. any better than using wifi?

it is always better to be wired than wireless, if you can help it.
i have one wired, one wireless. for weaker links or when speed fluctuates, wireless fail more often.

it is true when the traffic gets heavy, many of the channels keep buffering.
still, i always manage to find one that works all the way.
i find the austrian, australian, brazilian and russian channels better than the rest.
i just noticed the the new bright green navi-x on gotham has a lot more new worldcup/sports channels - when the games are almost over!

Yes the navi-x seems to have more and better HD too. Im now figuring out how to do the HI Media mirroring with ipad 2. I think previous version was easy but the lates one seems to have this QR code need to scan if im not wrong. Have anyone tested out yet. The reason is to get our device to mirror on the tv and get all the apps including google apps working on the tv.

I need some helps here guys.

First, my LED TV got no HDMI port.
I've a Q5II, currently connected to TV via RGB cables.

Plan to buy a cheapo home theatre set and connect them all.

http://www.philips.com.my/c/home-theater-s...htd3510_98/prd/

Workable? Or my TV must have HDMI port?
If workable, how do I connect them? Someone guide me please. icon_question.gif

EDIT: Want to karaoke with android apps. rclxm9.gif

it workable:
1. for digital audio dd/dts you need toslink cable (Q5ii to HT) or can use rca cable (white&red) for analog
2. for video rca cable (yellow) himedia-ledtv

btw, what happen to your ledtv's hdmi port, no more free left or faulty or no hdmi at all rclxub.gif

Naise, so all I need are,
HT < (toslink Cable) < Q5II > (Yellow Cable) > TV

there r many dns u can try. google n u will find some.
e.g. 8.8.8.8 and 1.2.4.8

even so, they may only work with some channels in hitv. i find vqq n pptv best, always work. youku n qiyi never work.

those dns may also work better with mangotv n moretv.

this dns change, normally where do you set this up?
is it in the router admin page or the internet connection setup in the computer  network ?
*
in settings, same page as where you do firmware update.
find ethernet and wifi - ip, dns, proxy are set up there.

*** careful... write down all original settings before attempting to change anything!

just a small tip for those looking for chinese-taiwanese-korean-japanese-thai drama series/movies with english subs.

i hv not come across a good app for that, but this website has something to offer:
http://www.justseries.tv/

just use the browser to access it.

decent content, pretty smooth.

only problem is the navigation on the device is cumbersome, i.e. can sort by genre but cannot sort by chinese, korean, etc. or drama, movies. this is strange as all sortings can be done on pc - probably some specific android version bug.

anyway, better something than nothing!
