Bro, would be appreciated if you could share the xbmctalk installation guide here, such that more forumers could enjoy the xbmctalk repo beside the fusion repo :-)

Concise guide:
1. Download official XBMC and install.
2. In XBMC, go to "File Manager" under the System tab.
3. Select "Add Source"
4. Input: "http:// xfinity.xbmctalk.com"
5. Add name: "xunity" or whatever you want.
6. In XBMC main screen, go to System, select Add-Ons, then select "Install from zip file"
7. Select the talk wizard zip file.
8. After it is installed, you should be able to see the TalkWizard add-on under the Video Add-ons.
9. Run it, it should ask if you want to install all goodies etc.
10. Press Yes and wait for it to complete.
11. After completion, you should be able to find the add-ons.

Happy viewing!

Hi Guy, I just got HD600AII. Bought it from China. Anyone here owns it?

The problem now is I am trying to enter App Store from Application Menu, but it seems like I can enter it.

Do you have the same problem? Do I need to update the DIY firmware for better use in Malaysia?

Besides that, can anyone provide step by step way to backup then update the firm ware?

Thank you for helping.

i do not know if this is a higher or lower model than the q5ii which is a popular model here now.

but from yr description, i guess the firmware is incorrect as it is to be used in china.

you will need to find the right one and reinstall.

well, that's why buying local with local support/warranty makes sense, most of the time...

Bro, if the HD600AII core OS is the same as Q5II, then you might have same issue as Q5II. Please check the below link under Q5II FAQ, Q#5.

appreciate your reply~ i had tried on realtek n sigma, both got no luck.
with the flexibility of android os, hopefully the developer could add-in x265 codec, then i will get myself a android based media player.

For those need to upgrade / install WIFI on Himedia H900.
I found that it support realtek wifi chipset below :

ASUS USB-N10 USB N150 RM49 rt8188
TP-LINK TL-WN821N USB N300 RM29 (only v4 with rtl8192, the rest is RA chipset)
TP-LINK TL-WN725N nano USB N150 RM29 rt8188
D-LINK DWA-132 USB N300 RM29 rt8192

Test worked for Dlink dwa132,rm29 very cheap and it support N300 speed somemore!

Hi

Was experiencing problem free streaming of movies and youtube from my ipad/iphone to my HiMedia Q5II but suddenly yesterday onwards, I've been having problem streaming it.

It's not due to the Internet connection because I can watch them on my devices without problem, only have problem streaming to HiMedia and I keep getting some error like redirector.googlevideo.com/%$^$& a long string of texts. Then the video wouldn't stream, just a blank screen or have very jerky streaming.

Can someone please help?

Thanks.

I guess so, the quad-core of the 3188 can handle some serious number crunching. Currently firmware 007 not really stable though. I am sticking with 006 which is rock steady. Maybe need to wait for firmware 008 then you can get a stable h265 decoding.
