finally after countless of attempts i finally broke the 30k mark for 3dmark06 but still unable to get 8k for 3dmark11. came short of 40 pts.

Well I hope you DO get to break that 8K Mark bro. Seems like you're one of the few running the M18x on the 920XM procs as well. All the best bro and do update us here. Also do report if any issues with the notebook. I hope they have a dual GTX 485M upgrade for this baby! flex.gif

nice, the alien family is growing...hehehe

btw, i'm at the airport in HK right now, going to Germany, man, bringing this baby around ain't no easy feat....i sweat so much carrying it around....but i do get people staring at me for using my laptop....haha

but i think i still need that Orion backpack, as i use my current backpack...it's close to full, i had to put my printed documents into my luggage bag sad.gif

hello..newbie here want to ask about the tactx keyboard..it seems that my media key is not working..how to set it up ? i cant mute or play in any player ..i tested on wmp,foobar winamp vlc . and any known media player..help plssss~

Haha, the graphics card alone for AMD HD6970M is USD 550 from RJTech, not USD800, so should be better for you now.

GTX 485M is USD 750.

Both graphics cards come with heatsink.

Thanks a lot bro. I was actually looking at the reputable seller recommended by NBR Forumers. So didn't check this one yet.

Well after shipping its a tinge above USD$600. The upgrade will be almost RM2K. So heavy consideration is a must.... smile.gif
