2) 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6870M or 1.5 GB Geforce GTX460M OR 2GB Radeon HD 6970?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Apr 26 2011, 09:38 AM) This is sad Noted, thanks for the quick reply bro...i will order my M17x R3 now, and hopefully i can get it on time to do some serious gaming...haha...Added on April 26, 2011, 9:41 am If solely for gaming, i7-2720QM will be enough.. Not worth the extra money for 2820QM AMD HD6970 would be better? |

QUOTE(faezfahmi618 @ Apr 26 2011, 02:13 PM) congrat for ur purchase bro haha, cheers bro....nah, i'm not a hardcore Dota fan, although i do play HoN from time to time...i'll be playing Dragonage, Mass Effect and some other games out there!...i hope u can make a review for this laptop soon.. but pls u buy this gaming laptop is not about playing DOTA only right? coz i have a friend who buy this laptop only to play DOTA on high setting he said.. QUOTE(putochip123 @ Apr 26 2011, 02:22 PM) well, once u get the laptop just plug and play, if u wish to use it directly, then unplug the battery, plug in the adaptor to use. right, but what if i'm on a plane? my company just informed me i might have to go to Germany on 9th of May (technically, that is the week that i am supposed to receive my laptop), and i heard that there are power ports on planes now, so i hope i can game a bit on it.remember, whenever u use laptop with battery, after using it, remember to recharge it back(eventhough u used for 20% only), dont ever finish up ur battery charge QUOTE(teddythedog2 @ Apr 26 2011, 04:23 PM) congratz bro umm, my specs are following the Dell in HK, but i'll list it out for you anyway.i7-2720QM, 17.3 Full HD LCD panel, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, 2 GB AMD Radeon HD6970M, 2*750GB 7200RPM HDD, Blu-ray disc drive. QUOTE(Heroez @ Apr 26 2011, 04:43 PM) I got it for about HKD 24,520, convert it back to RM, it should be around RM9,437? |

QUOTE(elixus @ Apr 27 2011, 04:50 PM) Almost a month of waiting haha, damn, that's a bit long isn't it?...i just ordered mine yesterday, and they ETA is 26th of May, i hope it's slightly faster, before i fly...xDI ordered on the 31st March and just received it last Monday even though ETA was 26th. I think if they delivered on weekends I would have gotten it earlier since the order status said it arrived in the main hub last week. Awesome seller/dealer! Quick responses from him to my questions made purchasing much easier Yeah, I just bought the Enhanced Edition on Steam. I hope I can finish it before The Witcher 2 comes out. I need my WRPG fix fast since DA2 was such a disappointment for me QUOTE(teddythedog2 @ Apr 27 2011, 08:00 PM) Dell states that normally it takes 2 to 3 weeks, but according to replies back then, it depends on whether they have the parts for assembly at that time...sometimes the testimony on Dell website says that they received their gear after a week QUOTE(kira-kun @ Apr 27 2011, 08:07 PM) My laptop arrived already!!! haha, congrats bro....hopefully you won't lose your sleep over too much gaming....hahaMy dad said it is in ipoh already!! Dang I have to wait till friday to play haha |

QUOTE(marcuslpm @ Apr 27 2011, 10:59 PM) Hi, just want to ask. Any of you guys use m14x / m15x for autocad? hmm, i think based on the specs of the alienware, i think it shouldn't be a problem using autocad....although my current old laptop can still use autocad, but during rendering, it takes forever...hence why i only render in the office.....need some opinion. thought of getting a m14x. thanks =) |
