Guys; need help

My Alienware M15x lags like hell when play SC2.
Only manage to play low graphic n setting sad.gif
Here`s my specs.

i7-820QM 1.73ghz
Nvidia GTX 260M, 1024 Gb
4Gb ram
Windows 7 Home edition x64 bits.

any UFOs mother ship can help me?

I'd like to help but when SC2 came out I was already running on the ATI 5870 DDR5. Prolly not on HIGH Settings but I think you definetly can play much higher than LOW settings with the 260M. sweat.gif

KVReninem,

What is the temp of your CPU and GPU during and after the gaming? High temp means that your system suffocate to run the setting wheres low temp means you accidentally pressed Stealth button.

I just disable the stealth mode; manage to play medium now; but looking to go high now.thanks guy!

I hav switch off the stealth button; i`ll get the temp monitoring later icon_rolleyes.gif

Btw guys; I also updated the drivers for NVidia; but not the latest released today.
Im just wondering; doI need to do BIOS update too? unsure.gif
cos mine is like hot cake out of the oven.

What is your BIOS version? Actually high temp is more due to the environmental factor such as never vacuum the air ventilation etc than BIOS/GPU driver nowadays.

Hey guys. Is m11x r3 capable of handling games like GTA 4 and Mafia 2? Im sure the GPU is good enough but ULV processors? I need good advices.

Can, at medium settings. But screen might be too small for gaming...and it can cost more than rm4k i think, if u customize a lot

might as well you buy a M15x from putochip123

i think u have to take out the whole optical drive to take out the CD...

Just did GPU cleanup again this evening, will upload the pictures tonight.

Have some problem regarding my display after finish cleaning up, but I managed to solve that problem with my own smile.gif
