No worries regarding BIOS support, original A10 BIOS is compatible with HD6970M card, not so sure about HD6990M though,
but since they are quite similar, I think it will be suitable as well.

just wondering, im planning to get an m17x r3.

im gonna run dual ssd in raid0, i already have the SSDs, but according to my friend in Dell, they will only have 1 hdd connector if i don configure RAID when i buy, any ideas where i can get the connector? adding a 2nd hdd for RAID0 config will cost rm500+ more, adding to an already expensive laptop ==

any suggestions?

well mine have 2 even with onli 1 HDD setup... currently running SDD+HDD...
i think the hdd connector will be there u juz need to set RAID mode on BIOS and configure the raid disk at CTRL+I before the alien logo appear on POST startup...

Hows ur system nowadays in terms of temp? Been using the 6970 for long? My concerns are the temps at the moment only.

hackremo : i can offer u rm 850 for 460m

julchin_09 : been use my sytem with 6970m for about 2 weeks plus. never get above 90C. even OC. just as i mention earlier, make sure the gpu die and heatsink contact close enough. so far idle 51-56C. i think like others and quite normal for 6970m.
