Yes, i upgraded by myself. Get the card from Dell Taiwan for RM 2k with assistance from my friend. SInce its the same card use in M17R3 so no issues at all. Just the replace the original heatsink screw with custom one since original m15x heatsink screw have gap between GPU and Heatsink.

I even OC to almost 6990m performance and max temp at Full load is 89-90C. Idle 54C. Play DAII, Crysis 2 at almost all setting max except shadow etc. Dirt 3, withcer 2, Starcraft II all maximum setting at full HD 1080. really satisfied and big improvement from 460m which i upgrade from original 260m

yup .. Just use AS5 as thermal paste.never reach above 90C
so easy to upgrade m15x ..plug n play like desktop hehe

ohh.. need sleeve for extra padding since i carry around back an forth from home to office...

yo man, got my m14x few days ago, and i was busy. just unbox it. I heard that have to do AlienRespawn right?? how am i suppose to do that?? then some of the aliens here said thermal paste.. how to do that?? im new to all these dissecting laptop things.

AlienRespawn will "remind" you to burn the 3 recovery medias one
As for reapplying thermal paste, that one is abit more advance; not really needed if you're okay with the laptop's temps.. I'm still thinking on whether I should try it
