graffiti toys selling MG qant 00 at 137?! shocking.gif monday i went there is RM153

the price of gundam in gamer's arena and graffiti toys are roughly the same, but if graffiti toys got special offer, sure it will be dam cheap, like the SF selling at RM163 while normal price is RM177

i would avoid XL shop and time machine at all cost, their stock are all at least RM10 more expensive than gamer's arena and graffiti toys

Yea, that is the last time price wars that i am talking about. too bad the price went back up already. but i bet you that many have enjoyed MG Qant at RM 137.90 as i saw more than 50 box in GT during that offer period. I remember seeing it at their blogspot at RM 13x.xx before they received their stock icon_rolleyes.gif

I see what you did there.

Strike's helmet with a traditional V-fin instead of the 4-pronged version. The protruding cheek vents kinda reminds me of Gundam X but the X doesn't have head vulcans and is more prominent.
Wing Zero/WZC's gatling casing above the chest.
Strike's torso.
Unicorn's forearm and tonfa rack.
MKII's shield design (heavily modified but still recognisable)
Heavyarm's calf missile pods
Delta Plus's feet (with 2 tiny thrusters)
Strike's rifle with a longer butt (modified yet the basic shape is there)

Full marks for effort. Proportions are quite off but love the shading. Much better than anything I've ever attempted in my younger days. tongue.gif

wa good job on spotting that...i didnt watch X series actually... tongue.gif

Wing Zero/WZC's gatling casing above the chest. (right... like the concept of W series, gonna make a full use of that)
Strike's torso. ( yes)
Unicorn's forearm and tonfa rack. (actually original based on RX-78-4/5...)
MKII's shield design (heavily modified but still recognisable) (based on RX78-4, well it is almost same)
Heavyarm's calf missile pods (true)
Delta Plus's feet (with 2 tiny thrusters) (yea, like zeta's foot design)
Strike's rifle with a longer butt (modified yet the basic shape is there) (original wanted to use P90 concept, but not logic for robot so use back strike's one, one of my favourite weapon design.)

and....wait- how old are you, you sounds like old geezer. tongue.gif

Damn, missed the RX78-4/5's forearms. The Unicorn's forearm plates face the otherway. And the shield too. rclxub.gif Oh well.

P90 will be a pain for posing if it makes it into gunpla form due to the long butt. The GM Kai's bullpup is OK as the butt is shorter and the clip faces upwards, but the Custom/Quel's is hell.

And I'm not old enough to be a geezer, but no longer young and reckless unlike before. laugh.gif

To me the Ground Type Tieren seems plausible in real life, looks like a walking tank. Having said that, yes, I agree. It's the one of two things that attract my attention. Apart from Overflag. Those two are lovely biggrin.gif

my kits got from different shops.. Exia from FT LYP, ABF & Zeta Plus from TM, Strike + IWSP & Mk-II from GA laugh.gif

but of all, GA got the best price.. unless GT decided to go on for a price war icon_idea.gif haven't checked out TM's new shop yet hmm.gif
*
Yeah, GT can be terrifying when they throw price. I think it was once that the MG Hi Nu from GT was cheaper than GA's. But that was a couple of months after I bought it from GA. Mana tau, until now still haven't assemble. XP

Nice work dude! rclxms.gif

Though to me, I think the front skirts a bit too distracting. Maybe a tad too detailed. Sketch that into 3D CAD image, sell it to Bandai. biggrin.gif

No. A walking tank would be inefficient as the limbs will probably wear out in no time. Furthermore, methinks despite our love for giant robots, a real life humanoid battle machine will be visible from miles and present itself as a really really visible and easy target.

in short, a sitting duck biggrin.gif

me thinks so also
for that size, the armor will be very darn heavy, no way u'll c agility as in Gundam series
bombard a real life large humanoid mecha with long range missles would eventually wear it down
so it is practically useless

Haha the reason why the bombardment nvr done to the MS was because the Minovsky particles, which was frequently used in UC has jamming capabilities (similar to GN Particles), thus rendering missile targeting useless

i think that a 60 tonne machine standing on two legs will probably exert so much pressure on both its relatively small feet that it will sink into the ground or cave in the pavement that is standing on.
