Bro Darrenz,

My transaction are in Euro. So I would need to convert the amount spent in Euro -> USD -> MYR ? Since it's 2 times transaction so I guess the exchange rate would be worse than Visa/Master?

ya that's right, it will be double conversion for any currency you used unless it's already in USD then just direct conversion, it would say the rate will be around 2.6-2.7% range nod.gif

Need to pay tuition fees in CHF.

Does it make sense to charge via Credit card ?
Generally, the exchange rate will be less favourable as compared to bank's TT rate?

Anyone has experience in the range of difference?
Worth the points equivalent/cash back from credit card use?

same here, going to US next week, which card shall I use?
I am having cards a below:-
a) OCBC Ti (Master) - The currency conversion rate is determined by Visa International & MasterCard Worldwide plus a standard administration charge of 1.25%
b) M2C Visa + AMEX (dont take 5% cashback into account as I will maxed it every month via bills) - Visa admin cost 1%, Amex 2.5%
c) SC Plat (Visa) - Determined by Visa and MasterCard International plus administration cost of 1%.

Amex will give 5x point which equivalent to 2% whereas OCBC tit is 1%..which is better to use in US?
