QUOTE(alfee29 @ Nov 17 2012, 12:01 PM) You actually save about RM0.21. Here's the calculations: The exchange rate 3.096660 is including the 1% bank fee. If you enter bank fee 0% to the exchange rate estimator (http://corporate.visa.com/pd/consumer_serv...er_ex_rates.jsp), the exchange rate is 3.066 which is match the rate of 3.0966 when entering bank fee 1%Based on Visa's exchange rate, the retail amount: USD200 x 3.096660 = RM619.332 Including the 1% bank fee: 1% of RM619.332 = RM6.19332 Total amount that should have been billed = RM619.332 + RM6.19332 = RM625.52532 Added on November 17, 2012, 4:08 pm QUOTE(alexwsk @ Nov 17 2012, 12:28 PM) The citibank online account only shows transaction date This post has been edited by vincentxiang: Nov 17 2012, 04:08 PM |

Maybankard VISA is no doubt the best when it comes to charging your expenses in Korean Won or New Taiwan Dollar as the final exchange rate for both of these two currencies are even cheaper than buying cash from local money changer |

This is a silly question, but why does Maybank not publish the 0.5% charge for its Maybankard2 Mastercard? In the credit card agreement the 2.5% charge for Amex is clearly stated, but I didn't see any 0.5%, yet obviously the rates are higher (0.5% possibly) than Visa/Mastercard's conversion rate.
