for the first time i found facebook useful! i just came across my cousin's page and he's coming back next week. issit true the vat can be refunded / claimed back? if yes, anyone interested to buy? i dun wanna make any profit.. just to share with u guys..

yes..you can claim back VAT..be sure before check-in, do the VAT refund..

(b) Non-EC residents studying or working in the UK or EC residents may also qualify to use the scheme if they intend to permanently leave the EC for a minimum period of 12 months. To qualify under this provision you must:
