used to have a small mini hypermarket (forgot the name already). But for about a month it is closed (not sure temporary or permanent closure). i often visit ss2 mall and the most got business there is the gym. the place got a times bookstore already. i have seen some wedding dinners take place at the restaurant at the top.

So sad to see such mall to fall due to bad management! Good location, good number of resident, college, office. This should bring in crowd like Jaya1 crowd.

I actually go ss2 mall quite often, because of all the new pub. There is:-

e-library
another library....but with lot more entertainment, soft dart, dytona, pool, even karaoke!

Paparazzi
Dance Club, been there once, nice club with lots of young hot lady~ but only during weekend tho. Weekday is quiet as shit!

Top drop
Whisky bar with good selection of whisky, they sell by glass too, so you don't have to buy the whole bottle.

BeerHive
Neighborhood pub, I particularly like this one! Cozy environment, quality drink with reasonable price, and the staff is very friendly too. If this pub open in scott garden or giza, for sure it will work very well~

Yea. The mall is so quite if you compare with TCM & Paradigm Mall.

forget bout the shopping first, the management really got ALOT of works to do .

BUT why i love to go to SStwo mall is the have a couple of drinks + watch LIVE football matches + electronic darts game with my friends at BeerHive. Not sure whether u guys heard bout it before....

They serve G.A.B products , whisky, wine, brandy and Absinthe with a very reasonable price. 6 full pints Guinness only for rm90++ ..

Actually i personally think what SStwo Mall is better than TCM and Paradigm mall is , SStwo mall has a Beautiful Alfresco Outdoor Area.
It's great atmosphere to hangout with friends.. BeerHive also has a big projector screen for all the football fans like me XD

Means they serving Beer like Guinness, Tiger, Heineken, Strongbow and Kilkenny.
Absinthe is some shots contains 68% ... crazy !

Not easy...eggs and chickens issue.

You're totally right! I was thinking the same thing with you. Cinema and Amusement centre/ bowling can help to attract people, and rent to Harvey Norman/SenQ/Popular at very low price.

SS2 mall is so near to Tropicana Mall, Jaya One, Jaya 33, Digital Mall.
So on earth ppl want to go SS2 mall?

SS2 mall should offer free rental for the first 6 months with condition of at least 2 years rental contract.
I believe could attract some to set up retail business there.

I wonder is it due to not allowed to build highrise. Seems like waste this land use for mall only.

Till now still not much crowd eh? Paradigm mall the most successful 1. Just open and boom...so crowded!

The failure of this mall:

(1) Targetted nearby consumers only. Even the name of mall tell u. SS2.
(2) Location : not in Main road frontage. Not outside traffic coming.
(3) There is nothing to shout about.
