im using the live microbes live wallpaper. very cool!

Plan to flash to stock Gingerbread XWJVB 2.3.3
Do I need to backup anything ? IMEI not will disappear o not ?

backup your contact, pix, music, etc using KIES is enough.

Just updated to XXJVB stock rom.

Guys, your gps problem days r over!
Locks in 10s with 10/10 satellites without any data or A-gps from cold start. Previously, it took 2 ~5 mins for my gps to lock in. Now, with 2.3.3, gosh it's freaking awesome!!!!

Note: Last time when I'm on froyo (2.2.1) and just flashed the modem itself (xxjve, xxjvk, etc), it doesnt solve the problem. But when I flash the whole 2.3.3 stock rom (XXJVB), gps just locks in within seconds.

gps on goatrip ROM suck!!!...i cannot find a single sat....a drawback albeit the eye catching beautiful rom...

thinking of reverting to stock jvb rom...

i love battery life with JVB



listen to music for 2 n half hours.
wifi on all the time.
auto sync is on.
brightness is half.

if in Froyo, never gonna happen

still dont understand, some ppl is complaining battery sux on JVB but some ppl say its good. im still waiting for the next release of GB firmware, seems like JVB still not stable, any effect on the Google call back of the official GB??

im on goatrip and my gps can lock within 20secs!

some say tat it's not Google who's calling back the updates. it's Samsung, but carriers release the updates.. lol

Now i'm on JVK again cuz i think JVK could make my phone stand up to 12-16hours compared to JVB which is eats 10-12% per hour.Maybe JVK is suitable for my phone for now.

Hope we'll get the better GB stock ROM for our region.

im on Goatrip and my battery dropped from full charge (98%) to 83% after 10 hours..after some messaging and a few calls

install other memo apps... i thinks this will solve your problemm

dont know how to help u dude...cuz i didnt change any settings whatsoever
just switched on GPS and Papago and i had a lock on my current location in 24 secs..

nevermind buddy..solved...hahaha...just reboot and dang!!...lock inside the building...hahaha...

Who have battery and GPS issue on Gingerbread JVB, I think the solution is reboot. Source: Fix- Battery drain 2.3.3 - high android OS



But I still using Criskelo. Happy with 2 days battery life with moderated usage. Hehe..waiting until Gingerbread got call recording function, then I'll flash to Gingerbread.
