after Flashing to GB XXJVK, the SGS seems to have issue receiving calls, and dropping signal once the calls come in and hang the phone.

Anyone have any idea what went wrong where?
*
did you clear cache partition or factory reset after flashing?

i dont know, my friend tested it by using video call from his N8 and there it works.

i tried it the other way too and it works...
*
i'm always video call with my wife..but when i'm on 2g network..i cannot make one...it always said out of 3G coverage...the only drawback is battery juice..

now i wonder why stock gingerbread rom doesn't have gingerbread keyboard in it...only have samsung and swype keyboard...

i dont think so since it's been integrated in speedmod kernel for the lagfix. i noticed something la, before this if i use lagfix on speedmod, it takes about half of the space in the internal memory, but when using the ex4nj it takes small partition only.

edit : if you use android, we can discuss and share our knowledge ( one good example is from this thread.  thumbup.gif ) to other ppl about how to flash kernel, f/ware, lagfix and all. but if you use iphone, you will like, buat kerja sendiri dah because after dah jailbreak, sibuk main iphone sendiri2 dah. dun care about anyone else anymore. i can say this by looking at my friends who owns iphone 4. with my other friends using galaxy s, seriously susah nak stop talking cause banyak discussions like how to improve our phone. and the discussions can go for hours thumbup.gif
*
that hit the spot!!!..totally agreed with you bro nasrul...i in iphone stand for i , my self and steve job...differs from android....so much to discuss even when talking about widgets on your homescreen can take hours...not yet to about scripting, journaling, etc...that is i enjoy so much about androids..android make friend..while iphone is a solitary way of file..nope...apple way of life...

920? seem low.. coz ori froyo .. my also some time can reach 1000 point...
*
actually i don't care about the figure...because quadrant was optimised for snapdragon cpu..not hummingbird..and then the figure and actual experience is too different...

i tell u...change to ext4 or ext2 filesystem..and you'll get 1.7++ score..huhu... brows.gif brows.gif

and to think that after all this time, all the roms/modems/kernels that we flash, the best solution for our SGS' crappy GPS signal is some duct tape on the gps antenna!
ahahahaha  doh.gif
*
zumapuma,

u put slight thick tape or just normal duct tape?
