now my SGS still can make a call but with rate rm4.50/min & rm2/sms. since my SGS can make a international call mean I can use my SGS with their operator?
what I want is I wanna subscribe japan's local operator without buying new phone. I very confuse now because I heard that local phone cant use in other country, same as japan's phone cant use in malaysia.

p.s sorry for my poor english. biggrin.gif

If Japan is using simcard (GSM) should be no problem buying a pre-paid there. Not sure what technology they're using though

erm bro, why dont u try to revert back to stock froyo rom that got bootloader, like ZSJPJ from the first page? then after that, you do all the factory reset, and the other stuff bla bla, baru flash to stock JVB. then from JVB, you figure out how to go to custom JVB rom. tell me back if you got probs. smile.gif

I think you are just on roaming in Japan.

QUOTE
rate rm4.50/min & rm2/sms

This is are roaming rates that you mentioned.

The operator is correct when they said you can't use overseas phone in Japan as Japan doesn't use GSM.

QUOTE
Most importantly, there is no GSM network, so GSM phones do not work

Stock JVB with boatloader. THen if want to flash Custom rom for JVB

Flash speedmod with Odin, without Auto reboot, pull battery

Boot into recovery, flash the zip
