QUOTE(BuFung @ Apr 19 2011, 04:26 PM) as far as I know my Nokia N95 work well when I travel to Japan.. now my SGS still can make a call but with rate rm4.50/min & rm2/sms. since my SGS can make a international call mean I can use my SGS with their operator? what I want is I wanna subscribe japan's local operator without buying new phone. I very confuse now because I heard that local phone cant use in other country, same as japan's phone cant use in malaysia. p.s sorry for my poor english.

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Apr 19 2011, 05:22 PM) I think you are just on roaming in Japan. This is are roaming rates that you mentioned. The operator is correct when they said you can't use overseas phone in Japan as Japan doesn't use GSM. Read more here: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2223.htmlreally thx for ur info! its really useful. but SGS only got GSM network? know nothing bout mobile phone I think i need to spend money again... s**t
