Watched another classic earlier today, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai..

Video , colors looks balanced, details look great. Healthy grain throughout film, contrast boost..some scenes looks sharp , YRF did better off REM, certainly not the classy authoring..

Sound , DTS HD MA looks alright for a classic film, nothing to moan about though..except some subtitle issue during some tracks..

Should you be a SRK fan, this is a decent release to have..authoring needs improvisation.

I never seen any copy of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai complete in subtitle. This Sony release BD is among the best I ever seen already, and the transfer PQ is gorgeous as well. 4 star for PQ.

Correct, shall be around RM 510.00 ++ and base on your purchase total, I assume the priority shipping cost be around USD $50.00.

It base on luck, it might be nothing wrong, I knew some user do order over RM 500, I never break the safety zone yet.

Ok considered what you've said and I took the plunge. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for the next 3-5 days awaiting the parcel. *gulp* unsure.gif

How many versions have you watched? I have seen all the 3 versions REM , YRF & Sony Music. I've gotta be really cautious with your interpretation . Llet me ask you nicely...what do you mean by " I never seen any copy of KKHH complete in subtitle". Subtitles inclusion in Blu-ray? Missing?
Don't simply reply if you are not sure about the facts or details. REM version has French & other European subtitles. YRF has Arabic & English Subtitle. Is that what you were trying to say?

The DTS HDMA track is well balanced compared to most Hindi movies, especially in the LFE section.

The colour tones were slightly on the warm side, but I realise most of the older Hindi movies tend to be on the warm side anyway.

I had the YRF version (bought together with Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham) and I believe you mean that the subtitles during songs sometimes missing?

I am actually grateful that YRF at least continues to re-release old titles and looks like the masters are still in decent shape to allow for BD.

I do sincerely hope that some of the old P.Ramlee classics (I believe Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka hv the prints) are released one day in BD.

Just wonder if anyone has acquired the BD version of the locally made ' Ice Kachang Puppy Love' by ah Niu?

I have the DVD version (Ori) and found it quite enlightening especially for the local dude who are at around 35-50 yr old age group.

How is the PQ for the BD I wonder.

The Movie was indeed shot in HD throughout the production.

I am not for quarrel, but I can't stand on people simply shoot "I said never seen complete subtitle in KKHH, and this is point to the subtitle during singing section where in his previous statement point to that part also, anything wrong on it? Most of the Hindi show never complete the subtitle in singing section and this Sony release KKHH BD is among the best on it from whatever I seen. Then He reply "Don't simply reply if you are not sure about the facts or details." Did I simply reply? Nope.... anyway............ happy Black Monday day smile.gif

It's already 1 month. From what i know, i-parcel did a bad job. should i email them now? Can i ask for refund or maybe discount for next shipment since i pay expedite shipping but i dont get their benefit.

Anyone face it? Tq

in future, u either choose the most expensive one with fatest speed & complate tracking no or u choose the cheapest one & try your luck.

there is not much dif in the lowest & mid for shipping for AMZ US.

if the parcel alreday exceed the time, email them, if u lucky, u might get your refund on freight.

godd luck bro.
