Just made my 'virgin' order for Blu-ray titles from Amazon UK. Ordered The Matrix Collection, 2012, Planet Earth BBC Series, and Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D ver. Slurp. ;-)

Hopefully will arrive pretty soon so I can test my new TV asap. tongue.gif

About to make a new round of order from Amazon US. Total price for the Blu-rays would be US$114 before shipping cost. You think it'll be stopped by our custom?

It is not over RM500, shall be ok. smile.gif

I often order up to around RM450 (include shipping) in a single batch. smile.gif
*
Alamak, if I opt for Priority International Courier then the total amount will be around RM500-510 oredi.

I read a lot of nightmare stories about I-Parcel, that's why I want to pay extra to get it sooner.

Correct, shall be around RM 510.00 ++ and base on your purchase total, I assume the priority shipping cost be around USD $50.00.

It base on luck, it might be nothing wrong, I knew some user do order over RM 500, I never break the safety zone yet.
*
Ok considered what you've said and I took the plunge. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for the next 3-5 days awaiting the parcel. *gulp* unsure.gif

Why nobody ask him whether his order is ship all together or separately?  tongue.gif

If he order is ship all together, then he just need to worry but if his order is ship separately, then he is likely no problem at all.

My current order already more than US$500+, I still don't worry cause Amazon will ship those BDs in separately parcels at different time.  tongue.gif
*
Mine got a total of 4 BDs, and I think they are shipping it all at once. I opted for the Priority International Courier. I heard the default courier is DHL right? The total value incl courier cost would be RM500.

You guys really think I should cancel one of the four BDs?

Great buy, The Green Hornet selling at RM169.90 at Speedy.
They have both the HMV steelbook edition as well as the clear casing edition - both at RM169.90
*
I think The Green Hornet 3D is selling at RM150.00 while the Tron 3D is selling at RM169.90.

But this Tron I got from Amazon US comes with 3 discs (3D, 2D, and DVD) + digital copy and somemore so much cheaper than Malaysian stores.

So for 3D titles, definitely you'll get much more savings buying from Amazon than from the local 'potong' shops. hmm.gif

Added on May 20, 2011, 10:51 amCan anyone help me?

I'm thinking of getting I, Robot from Amazon UK.

The title of that BD doesn't stated its Region Free, but if you click to read details & description, its stated as All Regions. Confusing....

Just received my 2nd order, but this time from the Amazon UK, not US. Ordered 4 titles 9 days ago and Amazon dispatched them in two different shipments. But both packages arrived on my doorstep at the same time. The box is not sealed and definitely been opened before, but thank God none is missing icon_rolleyes.gif

So it only took 9 days for the shipment to arrive despite being only a Standard Shipping option. Maybe its time for third order from UK again? tongue.gif

Oh! you get the Planet Earth Standard Edition, why don't get the Special Edition, it had much better PQ & AQ. (I own both before, so I know).
All BD in Planet Earth Standard Edition is 25GB while Special Edition is 50GB. The price only different  £3.

I only got to know about the Special Editon after my order has been shipped. blush.gif Oh well, I'm still new to BD. I'm sure I'll still be impressed with the 25GB version. laugh.gif

Shall be Ok la, no issue... only RM 380.00 - unless you pretty unlucky.  smile.gif

Most my order is around RM 450 one. Touch wood...  blush.gif

*
Yea I know you mentioned before about the RM500 unofficial safe limit. I'm more worried about the no. of discs per shipment. My previous 2 orders were 4 titles per shipment. If 7 titles would it cause it more likely to be intercepted? Hmmm

Avatar 3D not worth, I suggest maybe you can look on below 3D title:
- Tron Legacy 3D (I know this movie soso, but their 3D is gorgeous and people said can fight with Avatar 3D)
*
I have both the Avatar 3D and Tron 3D. brows.gif I've sneak previewed them myself, and you are right, the 3D effects of Tron are more impressive than Avatar's. But both are good benchmarks for 3D titles la. Worth getting them IMHO.

If you love Slipcover! Try avoiding purchase from B&N, as B&N customer service is silly!

Below is what they reply me, they don't even know how to spell Blu-ray properly.

Yea I guess that 'Justin' is probably an outsourced employee at a call centre in India or Philippines.

Nope..

I went .. duh .. at d ending.. like I said YMMV.. But hv to agree tat Natalie Portman is a great actress.. she alone carried de character thru'..

Talkin abt well rvwed but mvs tat I ended up
MACHETE
4star in blu-ray.com

Plenty of Tits n Ass plus a decent support crew of actors/actress.. plus lots of action/gore  but a gangsta type lead makes tis b grade mv wat it is to me -- b grade ..

Lucky I didnt pay  for it..

But you do know it's supposed to be a parody of B-grade movie right?

Wanna ask, The World at War BD on Amazon UK is a Region-Free title or not? It's not stated on its description. And the one on Amazon US can't be shipped to Malaysia. Pffttt....

*
