It happen to me too, when i use old byond decoder. But after i change to PVR decoder, it's not happen anymore..

Able to record via series link option now.
If the series recorded is not successfully completed then will it be smart enough to redo it?

Last night I test the sound at midnight, but this evening I turn the volume to normal level and the sound is normal...

But now comes another question:
When set B.yond to Dolby Digital 5.1, my TV no sound.
Which means, I have to switch on HTS each time I watch Astro?

Anyone know how can I set it up to always Dolby Digital 5.1 yet my TV also produce sound?
I personally feel it is not so convenient to always switch on TV, Astro and HTS just to watch a short while of drama or simply some crawling insects on National Geographic...

you'll need to have a TV that have the Dolby Digital decoder embedded, and able to receive input via coaxial or optical..

The PVR is not smart enough, We have to do it manually. We are lucky if there is a repeat show for that uncompleted episode.

Mine happened on the very last episode of Tokyo Shower ch393, i scheduled PVR for 03:40am show, then the storm coming at 4am, it only record 20 minutes of it. I noticed when i wake up that morning and scheduled again for the last show at 14:20pm. Leave for work and cameback at nite and notice the same prob. it's raining again that noon.

anyway manage to find the final episode online..

Looks like ESPN HD+ on ch.830. Lol Astro put some 4:3 ident pic on 16:9 channel.

Ch.830 for ASSP HD 2 lah, so it's temporary for EPSN HD+ now.

i hate this as well... :S

The ESPN HD + is for Motor GP race tomorrow plus Formula 1 on Sunday..they want to avoid Motor GP and F1 fans complaining and angry like crazy again coz no LIVE in HD due to Wimbledon tennis like last year..

it will be so weird when ASSP HD 2 will be on CH830 and ASSP HD on ch831..cant they reorganise the numbering..?

Ch830 should be left as a buffer channel for other ad-hoc screening. ASSP HD2 should move to CH833 and etc as a permanent channel.
As usual, ASSthrow uses its ass to think and not the brain.

I think you would have to first find the way to crack it's HDCP then only you can play the recorded shows on PC...

Ch833 should be for starsports hd (if its avail). 813+20=833

I hate quality of Dolby Digital (DD) sound from Maharaja Lawak final HD. Echo is too high and i can't hear clearly what they're speak.
But PQ is great. Astro next time please take seriously how to produce great sound quality on DD.

It happen a few times yesterday while watching Ghetto Justice.
I did a record of GJ and it stops on its own... why ?

I think ESPN HD under Star Sports, so no need for Star Sports HD.
