QUOTE(sengchangko @ Sep 8 2008, 11:01 PM) Hi guys another newbie/wannabes here trying to setting up a home theater system with his tiny 3k budget. Onkyo TX-SR606 got factory problem Made an enquiry on Onkyo TX-SR606 at Desa Home Kepong today but been told they returned all their stocks to the factory due to problems with the model. Am looking for budget yet great all in one home theater speakers system like Polk Audio RM6750 but found no luck so far. Any sort of advices and recommendations will be highly appreciated! |

Hi All,
I am looking for a set of bookshelf hi-hi speaker. Currently I own a Cambridge Audio Azur 340A Amp. I was considering Cambridge Audio S30 Bookshelf speaker as it fits my budget (RM900 - RM1200). Can anyone recommend me any other bookshelf-type speaker which fit my budget ? I do not want to trust the shopkeeper alone. Thanks. |

QUOTE(skyxsg @ Oct 13 2008, 06:24 PM) That was told by the Desa Home Salesman, wasn't sure how true. Found Polk Audio speakers in Harvey Norman Pavilion too. But I just ended up with this Onkyo system http://www.e-onkyo.com/goods/detail.asp?cg...0HDB&ictg_no=12. It supported 2.1 surround and featured ports for the 5.1 surround expansion in the future.Been very satisfied with the sound performance for my PS3, Xbox 360, DVD player and Astro from this unit. Can someone who has experiece with this 3 speakers tell me the general comparison of sound signature of these 3 speakers and whether they are hard to push and which is more powerful (i know quality more important but there are time where i just wanna jump up and dance
1. Monitor Audio BR2 2. Mission M33i (I have tried the M31i before, love it but think its a bit weak for my room) 3. Mourdant-Short 904i Side question, would adding a subwoofer into the above be good for music? (Rotel>Sub>Speaker setup) Anyone got any review for RA-04? Thanks in advance. Monitor Audio BR2 2. Mission M33i (I have tried the M31i before, love it but think its a bit weak for my room) 3. Thanks in advance. personally i listen to vocals, jazz, and country rock. my combination is valve amplifier, rega apollo cd player and lately acquired a pair Harbeth speaker and no fancy cables. |
