QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Jul 28 2014, 09:07 AM) 1. you won't be able to buy during inactive/grace period. even if you buy before the grace period (eg 6 July), your mobile internet will not function anymore on the 8th of July 2. RM 5 only Inactive till 7/7/2014 , UMI or MI40 plan purchase on July 06 for UMI plan -- my mobile internet plan will not work anymore after the active period - YES for internet plan how about Broandband plan MI40 ? will it continue to work after the inactive period ?

If you can still get U Mobile network in Sg which I doubt you can, then you should be fine. If you are connected to another telco provider, say, M1/Singtel , then it will be roaming charge .

I'm curious. May I ask, if you're outside of the orange area (the 3G coverage),umobile will not roam into a partner 3G network?
(or there's none despite the hoo haa about umobile partnering with Maxis?)

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Oct 23 2014, 01:21 AM) did u happen to put ur settings to gsm/2g only? No, but I suspect maybe the phone (its a faulty one, but usually works) did not get the proper settings, or maybe had the settings screwed up since it used to have a Maxis sim card too.
