yup correct RM 10 last 30 days, RM 30 last 90 days for CALLS AND SMS

while UMI package only last 30 days, which means after 30 days usage of the UMI, you stick to your remain validity of your CALLS and SMS, but internet going to charge RM 0.1 /mb once UMI package expired and not renewed  cool2.gif

Let's say I activate new SIM on 1st Jan with reload of RM20. That will give me validity until 30/31 Jan. balance rm20 + 5 (from SIM)

After that didn't use the phone.

On 10 Jan , buy UMI 18 which will give me until 8/9 Feb usage plan.

No more reload. So on 5 Feb, is my line still active? Given that I did not reload

Sorry if the question sounds foolish or confusing

then i tried reload using cimbclicks and it was successful...wanted to ask your opinion,if i use the reload from m2u now, will the validity period extend to another 3 month,or will it just overlap the validity?

Does it have discount for reloading at m2u or cimb?

My UMI 28 expired today at 1am but did not auto renew. I have sufficient fund. Max out last month data and can still use data (surf/whatsapp/etc). Not on wifi. And my credit is untouched.

I think I will try *118*6*2*3# as vostro78 mention.

My UMI 28 (500MB) old plan got renew with the new UM 28 (1GB) plan.

I did not do anything (ie. stop plan, subscribe to new plan)

So, it means, the old plan is gone. There is no more old plan. Everyone is on the new plan now.

There is no need to upgrade. The next time your plan gets renew, whether you upgrade or not, you will be on the new plan.

All also don't get what I'm talking about. There's a prepaid plan (which is the rewards for reloading and cost of call/sms) and a UMI package we buy on top of that plan.

The UMI package is automatically going to be upgraded, but the prepaid plan we have to choose to upgrade. I don't think there's reason to upgrade my prepaid plan, and judging by the website (still has link to the old prepaid plan) that's what will happen, since there's no auto-upgrade (ie opt-in only).

For me best combo seems to be old prepaid plan with the new Umi.

If you can still get U Mobile network in Sg which I doubt you can, then you should be fine.

If you are connected to another telco provider, say, M1/Singtel , then it will be roaming charge .
