I just back from Umobile Times Square to bought new starterpack for my phone.

The customer service right there is very bad. Aiyoh, don't know smile and not even say thanks to me. What type of customer service is that? At that time also got one person right there who is very angry at them and curse nonstop, i'm not really sure why. Their service is really bad izzit?

Alor Star does not have 3G signal for the U mobile. cry.gif

You should be able to surf all the site, but the throttling speed is very slow.  blush.gif

Any improvement in the 3G coverage in Alor Setar so far?
How about the signal for calling? Thx smile.gif

anyone experience this?
I'm working and living in singapore, forgot to top up my SIM which expired few days ago.
someone mentioned that umobile confirmed that we have 3 months b4 account terminated.
but currently I can't connect to any singapore network, is this normal? kinda make sense to not be able to roam when validity expired...
is that mean I can only top up my account when I'm back in malaysia?
anyone can confirm that we can still connect to umobile network AFTER validity expired?

Stated in umobile FAQ:

"If I purchase a top-up voucher from 7E in Malaysia and bring it along to Singapore, will I be able to top-up while on roaming in Singapore?
Yes, you can. You can top-up by choosing any of these two methods. *118# or send a SMS to 22128 to top up."

I am not sure about receiving calls with expired card when roaming in Singapore. But for Digi Prepaid, you can only 'receive' call but cannot make outgoing call if you account is expired (Digi phrase it as 'inactive' period within 90 days)

hi guys, anyone here knows whether the U Mobile store in Taman Molek, JB accept EPP for the HTC Sensation XE + U28? If yes, do they have stock there?

Do i calculate correctly? Device price [RM1699 + (RM28x24)] / 24 months = RM98.90 per month?

How much chapter is RM1699 compared to buying the device alone in the market?

You sure you want to commit yourself to a 24 months contact just to save a little on the device?

There are issues with u mobile like coverage and might not be as reliable as the major players like maxis or celcom.

i already past the limit, now surfs web just ok than celcom after period. yup, i know 1GB is noteworthy but as long as i can surf and sms with free calls. i just can say is a damm worthyyy. i'm afraid i just use it to beyond like i was in celcom before. i lost RM300 more because of postpaid. dammm celcom.

i think YES otherwise CELCOM will bankrupt faster... that's why they allowed EDGE only for umobile roaming...
