ok back to topic:-

ahkam, me and ice was bought at same branch... the car dealer hav ready stock with 1 black and white, i was early book(jan2011) from sc butterworth with discount rm1.7k, so means u get more discount den u get no chance to get car.
and i saw ice post at lyn say got another black insight in that branch, so i call the branch manager the next day morning and book the car with deposit, and due to my loan was approved so i get my car in 3-4days after bla bla bla in jpj,kastam, and so on.

My SA still have 1 ready stock in black, but ady tinted, cos he wan to make profit on it. Selling price RM98,980 (film cost RM980), no more discount, can collect the car immediately once loan approved, pls pm me if u guys interested.

rm980 vy nice price already, bwt dealer was add leather seat, tint.. and they hijack the price til rm103,388

today, i discovered my gear lever is a bit "loose" when in any gear. by "loose" I mean when it's in D, N, R or any mode, there is ~1cm of freeplay (the lever arm can jiggle/move up and down a bit).

wondering if it's just me or is this smtg that's common across all IN2s? in my previous cars (Myvi & Peugeot), the gear lever is tight and has no freeplay.

why already tinted? is it a used car? or showroom car?

better take white colour to reduce heat absorbed from sunlight hence will improve efficiency

Adding RM980 is still acceptable but too bad it's black color. Otherwise I will take it since my loan already approved and I still waiting my car for already 1 month and no good news.

past few days the weather is damn hot, even u park the car under sun for 15mins only already can behave like oven.

My update.

As i calculate the fuel consumption, i found that the onboard FC computer is not bad and quite accurate.

My last average FC before refuel was 18.9km/l (displayed in MID). I refuel early this time, before the indicator blinks and about quarter needle before empty. Already traveled 560km. Paid rm55.80 full tank = 29.37 liters. It works out 19.06km/l.

Not bad at all considering that tank I speed up the car to 160-180km/h all the way from pagoh to ayer hitam, plus fetch my wife daily (short trip), plus jam in KL last weekend (federal highway friday afternoon).

Current tank i able to maintain average 22km/l so far. My target after 2nd service, i should be able to achieve 25km/l average. Hypermiling is fun.

Fun yet tiring lol!

I really fully utilized the cruise control. Sometimes I basically driving with hands only. Getting near to the car in front, press cancel. As that car give way, press resume. Slowing down and continue coasting press cancel>set.

ic. i think those paper probably worth less than rm100.

maybe just similar to those book wrapping plastic paper who knows.

by seeing things goes about selling n buying insight 2nd hand, i might say all of you are the best second hand buyer and seller especially on theory speculations. in the end this thread will goes to V3 anytime soon and the purpose of sharing new things such as new accessories or new body kit will become not relevant in this tread anymore while i might say that is what interest us in the first place to join this thread to share our thoughts on what to do next after we have the car rather than arguing on who is selling and at what price. I don't think anyone of us here willing to sell the car as now we are the chosen one to get it while others drooling at the road side looking at our car and cant get it even willing to pay cash also. so all insight warriors.. share your thought to be the best by beating the rest of the car on road rather than we the owner of our proud insight car fighting each other on things that not even bring any benefit in the end.
