Only sunroof alr outdated, now almost all luxury cars come with panoramic roof. U can view a whole night view inside your car if u got it when u lift yr head up. 

I really salute those who can get > 800 km for the first tank. I could only get 570km, n now range showing 30km, so probably total of 600km.

Eco mode on, drive slowly (more lively when driving my myvi lol), no hard traffic jam, average 90km. Even though friends tested drive 2 times, it shall not caused the fuel to drop so drastic.

Anyway slow driving make me feel sleepy. Will drive like normal car n see how it goes for the 2nd tank.

Hypermilling tips when you run using autocruise;

Try to reduce blue zone/maintain green zone at incline by inching down on the set speed using Decel/SET button. The car will obviously slows down getting up the hill, depending on the degree of incline.

When the car going downhill, press Accel/RES button to extend the green zone and speed up the car. By then will got enough momentum for the next slope.

More green zone, better mileage. In the meantime your legs are still rest free.

Quite exciting. Like playing game using joystick. Have a try.

When I was away in Phnom Penh for 2 weeks, My dad drove my car and he said the car feel twice as fast with the Econ off.

Saw tons of 2nd Gen Prius in Cambodia (the old Prius was even shown in their Motorshow along with many new cars  ), zero 3rd Gen Prius and Insight.

I am experiencing that too, quite loud but only 7 sec, then it disappear. dont know what it is. Something like grinding between  metal.

So far only Mardzi, Orbclyne and me have this "problem", well, it might not be a problem, hopefully.

You guys can try, turn off the radio, air cond speed at the lowest, then you accelerate and see if you hear any grinding sound or not.  I only notice this after my first service last week, hope its normal.  I am not sure if its from the motor, but it sound like grinding or something spinning.

My ride now very comfortable, quiet and soft after reduce the pressure from 315kpa to 230kpa front and 220kpa rear, I suggest you guys to do the same if you don't mind sacrifice a little bit of FC and tyre wear.  Running too high tyre pressure may cause your dashboard, door trims' clips looses which may result possible rattles in the near future.

at wat speed the sound wil occurs?

Wax would only do sealing/sealant, polish would remove swirl marks. Wax would cover the swirl marks a little but then when the wax is gone, u will see the swirl marks again.

What I normally do for a proper car detailing, wash with claybar, polish & wax.

Added on April 24, 2011, 1:04 amDid smtg stupid today - i tried to use a flat-head screw-driver to manually adjust my headlamps behind the headlamp housing (I personally still find the headlamp levels too low for night driving, even after set to max auto-levelling)...

managed to crank the headlamps light level to ~5cm higher, when the entire internal lamp reflector dish inside "dropped" about 10cm. Then now even if I turn the manual screws, the levels won't go up/down.

will get it fixed in the 1st service... probably a cable inside got loose coz i turned too much.

So, MORAL OF THE STORY: don't get too greedy and adjust the lamp level way too high

Added on April 24, 2011, 1:23 amJust got my car back from PPS today...got the Shine N Shield Teflon coating done. Dropped the car off @ 9am, got it back @ 5pm. I watched them for awhile as they were polishing the car... it's quite a detailed process - wash thoroughly, apply polish, then wash thoroughly again, re-polish etc.

Luckily the shop lady boss got car for me to drive home... an old Ford 2.0 sedan... manual drive (i must say i miss driving manual car... still the best for jam-free roads

BTW, I was told by the PPS detailers to use a "PH balanced car shampoo" to keep the shine (and to ensure the warranty is valid). walau eh - even car shampoo must use "PH balanced!"

I'm currently using Armor All wash n wax liquid shampoo (blue bottle, around RM20/bottle)... but might switch to the one the car detailers are using (Auto Magic, RM60/ 3L big bottle). Anyone using this brand?

Hyprid Intelligent Sports

Is the Mugen emblem for insight. not hybrid tech. Probably to signify the Mugen Kit on the Insight

Hybrid can look sporty as well for the "Sports". plus the mugen kit claims to have "Zero Lift" aerodynamic added to the insight providing lesser drag, thus the "Intelligent".  the Hybrid word is still there. Hehe.. personally I don't think the Mugen "Hybrid Intelligent Sports" emblem looks good too, I prefer the original Chrome "Hybrid" emblem.

Hybrid can be very powerful too. F1 KERS function pretty similar to IMA too, by providing engine the boost when demanded from the energy stored from the regenerative braking.

Cayenne S Hybrid is another example of powerful hybrid

I had tried out 3 top brand petro for few month and top up with approx. same consumption fuel with the brand Shell, Caltex and Esso/Mobil on my VIOS.

shell - approx. 460 km per tank
caltex - approx. 500 km per tank
Esso/Mobil - approx. 550km per tank

usage - 80% on express way (speed 80km/h)
          - 20% on city

I will try out Honda insight once I get. Until now i still haven't receive my SA news about arrival of my new insight.

sorry, i dun understand what kind of logic is this, because u want all the gear to die about the same time, so you just simply use S, L forcefully. I do not need think the gear box will spoil such easily because you use D all the time.

isn't that S, L all both for lower gear purpose, which is more meant to be use on up slope and down slope?
what is the logic that on the ground road, u need to use them? when car accelerates beyond certain speed, it need to up gear, same as manual, i would just think that to insist of using the low gears on normal drive will spoil ur gear box even faster.

I would just think the way that car itself is already a wear and tear thing including all its parts, just use as per normal, when it is time to die, it will die no matter how.

seriously if the rm500 rebate is for tint then to me it is not a discount at all, honda partners with vkxxl, they can give u rm500 rebate simply becos vkxxl is a overpriced product with lousy GPS signal and no smarttag at all.  The price was marked up way higher before offer to us. I would rather to go outside install better tint at cheaper price with better GPS signal and the usability of smart tag.
