I was wondering if the grundfos use 13A or 21A wiring?
I need to install one at top of the roof with a switch at my master bed room.

Is better to switch off the pump when not in use, e.g. out to work. Any small leak, the pump with switch on, off and that reduce the pump lifespan, and also making the leak worse.

Pipe, better ask the pro to answer. I am not pro.

I have a question... What if the tank is situated at concrete slap, and exposed, pump should be indoor or can just be exposed sitting beside the tank?

You can reduce the pressure by the regulator and cutoff switch.

I heard got 1 model direct can't control one. Is it true? Mostly contractor will recommend it because easy installation.

Hi guys, does anyone know how much is a Grundfos submersible pump (model AP 12-50) cost? Is this pump suitable to pump up water from ground level to up till 2nd floor?

Hi all, I also want to ask if water pumps are water proof or not?
I ask because my water tank is located on roof concrete slab, so obviously it will be expose to rain.

Submerged pump design to get cooling from submerged water. If no water it maybe overheat.

Normally these water pumps are rated to IP55, which shall able to withstand even water jet from all angles technically! Rain water shouldn't cause too much harm to the pumps!

Some submersible pumps can be installed at dry pit without any problem.
