Brand Clazzen. initially I did believe in this brand until the vendor bring me to KLIA and see their Water filter system/Pump and under ground water system. rclxms.gif Vendor told me their brand is well known in M & E Sector but not domestic market. Industrial grade better/ More heavy duty rclxm9.gif

If I am not mistaken, SMART Tunnel is using Flygt pumps in most areas.

Hi bro,

How much is the price and still remember where you got it?..also what is the wattage and flowrate per hour if you dont mind me askin?..i was at a Bfo outlet and they are promoting grundfos..they had a chart showing what model and wattage to select..meaning if you intend to supply shower to 1-2 bathroom, 2-3 bathroom and so forth..mine is just a single storey with 2 bathroom and the chart shows i need the model CM3-5PC 0.6kw..saw the price at RM1350.00 not sure if could discount but msy not include installation

Hearing grundfos having negative comment, now searching for altenative brand..like what you said, may need to source for industrial type..in mind thought of Ebara but not sure if they have the type need

I saw 2 models in market now, they are CM3-5PC and CM3-5PM1. Actually what are the difference for these 2 models? I google it to compare it but could find the comparison. Hope some one can give some advise and details. Thank you

I don't see it cheap when it come with such a famous brand like hitachi and panasonic. Unless china don't no what brand. There is always a way to work around to reduce the way you 1. If you DIY enough.

You can mount it on the roof. To minimise the vibrate, place an 4pcs antivibration leg or rubber matt at the pump bottom. You can put a cover with neoprene inside to reduce the noise.

You can put a tank at the pump line to reduce the on/off frequent of the pump.

If all this add up and still cheaper than the expensive pump, why not.

Hi, the Grundfos pump is noisy, any idea where to buy the neoprene cover and is it safe (won't overheat) if i cover it?

Neoprene is a soft something like cushion. But more density. You need something to support. Make a cover from something plastic. Than stick the neoprene into it. Make the cover bigger so more room for the heat dissipate. Anyway, your pump not always running.

Neoprene have to buy in big sheet. For smaller, you can try some hifi shop. Ask for soundproof material. But not cheap.

Alternatively can get noise silencer manufacturer to custom make a noise enclosure for you, such as Istiq, KSM, Belflor and Trox.

You need somebody inspect the pump and is the installation method correct or not. Before further to improve the noise.

I think zheilwane did highlight the noise problem with the wrong installation. Try check it back.

Smart choice...Grundfos is a good pump but the price is very high because of the huge advertising cost they spent each year to promote their brand.

After installed i70P water heater, the water pressure still not much satisfying, so probably i will consider to install a water pump at top roof.
Most quiet pump is grundfos?

I heard ppl normally if wanna install booster pump then choose instant without pump. If instant have pump too will affect your pvc piping because presure too strong.
