I was wondering if the grundfos use 13A or 21A wiring?
I need to install one at top of the roof with a switch at my master bed room.

QUOTE(weikee @ Apr 24 2013, 04:11 PM) Why put the switch in a room? is better put in common area. When other need to use it can switch it on. Common area now i got no place to put, hard to explain this but the switch will always ON unless i go out for vacation.so u know the answer? 13A or 21A? I just wonder my pipe need to change or not if i change to use the water pump. |

After installed i70P water heater, the water pressure still not much satisfying, so probably i will consider to install a water pump at top roof.
Most quiet pump is grundfos? |

QUOTE(nilaisportsland @ Sep 30 2013, 11:07 PM) Hi all, my plumber just fix a pump for me and somehow it's not working. The pump also ON and OFF rapidly (short cycling). Water flow doesn't increase in all bathroom and worst thing is my master bedroom got stuck (worse than before, literally no water). Please take a look of the fixture and see any solution we can solve the problem. Your help and advise is very much appreciated. The diagram i drawn it based on the pipe that fixed and the picture is the real fixture. Please......hellllllllllp![attachmentid=3654173] you sure the bypass valve all open according to correct path? |

QUOTE(nilaisportsland @ Oct 1 2013, 09:35 AM) Yes, I think so as the diagram shown. I check the stockcock (valve) also installed at right direction. I planned to install a water pump for my house at USJ.Actually will the stockcock reduce the water flow rate? And cause less water flow into the pump which causing the pump short cycling (rapid on and off) every 2 second. Did u measure the meter pressure? In fact i asked this question yesterday. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2977708/ |

QUOTE(sapphirejohn @ Jan 30 2014, 12:14 PM) The contractor said if I install water pump. I need to install also the water tank. Install after water tank.If not, my neighbour will suffer water pressure loss when my pump is on. Is it true? If you install after meter (before tank) consider illegal. But i think if one row of houses contain 10 houses, 8 houses install pump after meter before tank, then will only affect the other 2 houses. the main pipe outside is bout 8 inches diameter, ur house one is 1 inch diameter, i am sure it wont affect much unless everyone install pump after meter before tank. QUOTE(ozak @ Feb 21 2014, 08:48 AM) I only change pipe from PVC to polypipe from meter to kitchen and meter to tangki. From tangki onwards still PVC. Within bathroom also changed to Polypipe. Didnt pass thru living room, all goes up to roof. that's the disadvantage for future modification. but potential leaking to plaster ceiling. Seriously anyone how 0.75 horse power pump can create how many bar of pressure? This post has been edited by sovietmah: Feb 21 2014, 11:20 AM |

QUOTE(ozak @ Feb 21 2014, 11:26 AM) Not so sure about what you want. Ya agreed. You want to increase the pressure from the syabas. So a tank and pump is need. But a pressurize tank without a pump is just equal pressure from the syabas. Let said the pressurize tank air side is 30psi. Syabas need to have 30psi or higher to fill up the tank. If syabas only have 20psi, your tank probably can't fill up at all. Since the tank pressure is higher than the syabas. With a unstable pressure from syabas like night high or morning low, you probably end up almost no reserve water from the pressurize tank. just get a S/S tank and pump and change the pipe too just incase. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Feb 21 2014, 11:40 AM) Don't worry much about the PVC pipe can't take higher pressure. Just install the pump and regulate the pressure. PVC pipe still can take some high pressure. Regulator?Let say you just want the shower to be higher pressure to enjoy. While the rest is ok for you. Than run a new pipe to the shower only from the pump. Install a regulator for the rest and straight higher pressure for shower that with new pipe. |

QUOTE(ice milo @ May 4 2014, 11:25 PM) hi. if all my showers got water directly from the tank, but the water pressure is really slow, what could be the problem? my friend said water pump only sucks in water to the tank, but in wont push water to the showers. is this true? i'm looking for a reliable pump that could help me resolve my problem. can you suggest a good but not overpriced water pump (that would resolve my problem)? my house is double storey with 3 bathrooms (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs). TQ water pump use to pump water from tank and supply to ur water shower. |
