Is it recommended to install apps and games to internal or external sd card? Any difference? I heard installing to external card will cause some lag during games.
*
if you can spare the space put it in internal. putting it in external helps you save some spce. in terms of lag not really noticeable, maybe longer loading times (slightly) but like i said, if u dont need the space then just put it in internal.

currently, i own 2 android phone, samsung G5 and ideos X5, both comes with their own charger.
samsung travel adapter - output : 5.0V == 0.7A
huawei power adapter - output : 5.0V == 1.0A

anyone know whether i can just use either one of this charger to charge both of my phone? will it cause any problem like inadequate power charge/etc?
thanks.

i own samsung galaxy mini (GT-s5570) which during the early weeks when i bought, it lags as hell.

after numerous hacking (rooting and flashing) i found there's a huge difference between before i root and after i root.

yes it recommended to install apps and games to SD card as obvious this will free up some space in RAM that were use up as installation drive. by doing so this will at least give your device an ample amount of RAM to use when your multi-tasking your device a lot, i mean ALOT.

also when you install it, make sure your SD card are those latest version aka SDHC, this also has significant performance impact, in which i see from what i was given (2gb standard sd card, included when i bought my android) compare to one i recently bought (16gb SDHC bloody hell expensive) now multi-tasking was an absolute breeze, for now.

not interchangable...

using samsung charger into huawei phone... wont charge due to not enough power (0.7A compared to the need of 1.0A)
vice versa.... might break/rosak/kaput ur samsung battery if use huawei charger (too much ampere)

my 1 sen

note: power can be equal to watt

watt(W) = volt(V) X ampere (Amp)
samsung need 3.5W to charge
huawei need 5.0W to charge

The SD card normally provided is usually class 2 or class 4. A Class 8 SD card is one of the fastest on the market but it doesn't really impact performance much. Its just like using a faster HDD on a computer.

The emulator roms do not require any money. They're pirated though so i won't go into detail as the mods might delete my comment.

No need. Just do a full reformat after a period of time e.g: 6 months.

Yes i understand you. I'm aware of that as it has happened to my previous phone when i was using a maxis number too. It was a Galaxy 5. You should try contacting Maxis's customer service for assistance.

Never defrag flash based storage.
1. Mechanical drives' head need to seek back and forth if files are fragmented causing unnecessary wear. Flash access are digital with no such problem and runs several magnitudes faster.
2. De-fragmenting flash causes unnecessary data movement (reads and writes) causing more harm by wearing out flash faster.
3. Flash based storage employs various different algorithms to store data due to flash fundamental behaviour which I'll not explain here, but in a nutshell, OS sees a virtual mapping of the data, not the physical one, thus have no way of knowing how to best manage the data in flash.

Can. I use my HTC (1.0A), Samsung (0.7A), SE (0.7A) chargers interchangeably, no noticeable difference. 0.7A may charge slower, that's all.

SDHC applies for cards 4GB and above. HC = high capacity. Maybe it was your card class which made the difference.

My guess is that you've probably put those apps into SD (or it is automatically done by default by HTC). It will take some time (few seconds to about 2-3 minutes) before the icons will show up. Usually the launcher will auto refresh the icons. To prevent this you can move the app from SD back to phone which will reduce your available phone space for installing apps but you won't face this issue for apps that you put on the phone.
