i was unable to play mkv and mp4 video in my android phone.. any suggestions? Do i need to download any kind of codec pack ? Im using samsung galaxy sl. Please help me thanks.

current phone on 2.2. lets' say manufacturer mentioned that this phone is capable to upgrade to 2.3, max we can upgrade is 2.3 only ?
what happen if 2.4 or 3.0 out, are we managed to upgrade it too ?

currently, i own 2 android phone, samsung G5 and ideos X5, both comes with their own charger.
samsung travel adapter - output : 5.0V == 0.7A
huawei power adapter - output : 5.0V == 1.0A

anyone know whether i can just use either one of this charger to charge both of my phone? will it cause any problem like inadequate power charge/etc?

also when you install it, make sure your SD card are those latest version aka SDHC, this also has significant performance impact, in which i see from what i was given (2gb standard sd card, included when i bought my android) compare to one i recently bought (16gb SDHC bloody hell expensive) now multi-tasking was an absolute breeze, for now.

I got question regarding the GPS on Android smartphone:

i) without 3G, without interness access, with offline mode, can i use GPS function like a GPS device (Garmin/Papago) with pre-loaded map inside?

ii) Can I install Garmin or Papago on Android? With apps support offline map?

any nice iphone ported game to android ?

im using Xperia X8 and recently ive update my phone to Rachts Floyo 1.0 FROM xda.. My question is, is IT normal that i dont have Profile setting.. Usually u have it like

Wireless n networks
Call Setting
Cynogenmod setting
Sound
Profile <----
Display and so on...

mine loosing the Profile .
Sound
Display

What could have been wrong? appreciate your help.thanks

whats the problem with stock 2.1?

Guys,just want to ask your opinion. This software used to work perfectly fine for me. Regardless of 3G connection or WiFi.

After updating via Market, I realised it always freezes and I have to force close the app. However,it works perfectly fine with WiFi.

Ive tried uninstalling,and reinstalling , deleting the app folders in SDcard, factory reset my HTC Desire.
There is a log file ,I will just post a link here so u can have a look(for those who are familiar with codes)

After looking at those codes in the log,I'm beginning to think that, Maxis is to blame. Its 3G connection became slow which resulted in "connection time out" as per reported in the log. (Im just assuming!!)

how to change the app to be like iphone style?my apps suddenly in vertical order?

I realized this problem had not been followed up. I get the same problem with my Incredible S

1. I installed GPS Test and it did locked on to 7 satellites
2. But when i use PAPAGO X5, it keep on searching for satellites.
3. Before, i tried to reinstall application and storage card files for Locations, under
    Setting > Location
4. It did solve the problem. However, after a while, the same problem repeating again.
5. Is ASTRO File manager giving problem?
