pretty outdated rit? sweat.gif but here's the speculated reason for that... Ice cream Sandwich and monitor...

ICS is more or less confirmed to be released in Winter (late Nov/early Dec), and that's going to be a major release which combines the GB and HC into 1, so with such a late launch date, it probably makes more sense to wait for update to ICS instead of putting HC into it, and customize the crap out of it with TouchWiz 4.0 (aka blown up Galaxy S II)... also the small monitor makes it a little cluttered to ve HC on it...

There's already android-x86. Native android and not via any virtualization.
It's up to gingerbread right now, and hopefully we'll see the x86 honeycomb port sometime later this year.

totally different OS...

Android is designed to run on the (relatively) ultra power saving ARM CPU... while Windows is programmed to run on x86 CPU...

the dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset (ULV GeForce is already included, with 12 SP) that is commonly found on Android tablets consumes approx 1-2W, and that is already 1 of the highest power consuming ARM CPU...

by contrast, Intel Atom N550 consumes 9W, while AMD Z series APU consumes 5.9W...
