The most significant difference between iOS and Android is the compatibility of flash contents. If you want flash supported tablet, then Android tablets are definitely your choice.

As for iPad and iPhone, it's all depends on your usage. If you want something small and yet powerful, iPhone is good enough to do the tasks. If you want to have bigger screen (e.g.: reading eBooks, magazines and etc) I would opt for iPad. Just my 2cents though. biggrin.gif

what i want from a tablet:
MS-Outlook with exchange server integration (e-mail, calendar, contacts)

Office document compatibility (view and edit)

competent pdf and ebook(epub) reader.

Note taking capability.

Games, for passing the time on airplanes (I travel economy)... Instant on, and excellent battery life.

Any meet those requirement? If none then I possibly will put my money on chinese based tablet (cheaper) since I will discard this may be in a year. Or may be save the money and wait for Window 8 tablet.

of course, they ship to US address only...

there are also a wide range of accessories available, such as docks, back plate, etc...

each backplate sets u back for US$20, and a capacitative stylus costs US$15 (a far cry from Flyer's US$80 stylus)

Pricier than Transformer. Hopefully Toshiba will provide better support this time

it keeps your device charged, makes turning your $500 piece of hardware into a $20 alarm clock a snap, and supports the MHL adapter via its rear port, so you can easily stream videos (or anything else you may want to stream) to your HDTV

US$50...

wait... this thing is actually cheaper than the stylus? shocking.gif

ohh la la, this one looks yummy...

the Samsung Galaxy Tab Seven (aka Galaxy Tab 2) is slated for a Fall launch...

Exynos 1.2 GHz dual-core processor drool.gif
1GB RAM, 2GB ROM
16GB of internal memory
Micro SD slot
Tab proprietary connector with USB Host capabilities (via adapter)
7 inch WSVGA IPS display
Ability to call, video call and send SMS messages

last but not least... Gin-Gin-Gin-GINGERBREAD (Android 2.3.4)! rclxm9.gif with TouchWiz 4.0...

pretty outdated rit? sweat.gif but here's the speculated reason for that... Ice cream Sandwich and monitor...

ICS is more or less confirmed to be released in Winter (late Nov/early Dec), and that's going to be a major release which combines the GB and HC into 1, so with such a late launch date, it probably makes more sense to wait for update to ICS instead of putting HC into it, and customize the crap out of it with TouchWiz 4.0 (aka blown up Galaxy S II)... also the small monitor makes it a little cluttered to ve HC on it...
