so, official words from Asus is that they are doing some stringent testing on Transformer which led to the delay...

but from the various sources it still sounds more like parts shortage to me...

They're having such a bad shortage that they can only churn out 1/3 of the total number they were supposed to produce now.

ya, too bad. Asus scale down Transformer’s production from 30,000 units to only 10,000 units per month.

means right now we will have to wait to get our hands on the tablets huh..

do u tink it's wise to get the xoom wifi from seller in lyn @ RM2000~2200 or import one from US with 3g @ around RM2400~2600? will it work here?

or shud i wait for other alternatives?

3G version is useless...

Verizon Wireless uses CDMA for it's 3G service, not GSM...

well, 1 possible way is to get the Xoom upgraded to 4G capable... Verizon uses LTE for 4G, which is wat we will use eventually... laugh.gif

otherwise, no pt in getting the 3G version...

the xoom with 4g? was checking out amazon and the oni xoom i can find is the wifi version..so i'll just have to wait for now

yeah, Motorola sort of rushed to get Xoom out... users can send it back to Motorola to be upgraded to 4G capable once ready...

anyway i ve to admit, a tablet with 3G modem is much more convenient... laugh.gif

yea..or local market create a software for their usb modem to be able to use on android? tongue.gif ..wanted to try out windows tablet but then it seems like windows wont hve mch entertainment compare to android interms of app and games.but windows tablet will have more function for work icon_question.gif

yea..why on earth wud i wan an android device that run froyo when i have my desire hd

but honeycomb..it's a lot more different ;P..at first i tot it's like our phone or gingerbread..but when i venture deeper..it's a lot different..better ui + app + more multi tasking ability...etc

i wonder where can i give these devices a try hmm.gif
