QUOTE(AlexLai @ May 4 2011, 11:50 AM) They're having such a bad shortage that they can only churn out 1/3 of the total number they were supposed to produce now. ya, too bad. Asus scale down Transformer’s production from 30,000 units to only 10,000 units per month. http://www.lowyat.net/v2/index.php?option=...d=4347&Itemid=2

QUOTE(astria @ May 6 2011, 10:54 AM) i think it was ATi who acquired it and AMD sold it to Qualcomm... anyway Adreno is merely a GPU... No, AMD is acquired Imageon, this is correct because is not ATi acquired it but Imageon is a line of media processors developed by ATi. therefore, ATI Imageon renaming to AMD Imageon. why we take this point of discussion because CPU and GPU are related. mobile CPU is SoC, Another element of the SoC is it's GPU. If AMD have intention to go mobile market, they will not sold off to Qualcomm.
